He was glad she agreed. He didn’t know if it would be insulting to ask her, but if sh had gotten up in arms about it Xavier wouldn’t do business with her even if she was the damn queen. His boys and girls were special and they would be treated the same by every client. “Perfect. There’s a contract in there that I’ll take with me. I’ll work your file personally to ensure maximum discretion. And, of course, I’ll sign any NDA you need from me.”

Georgette contemplated, “As to looks, I am extremely diverse, although I never object to a woman with curves. Personality? I like a little spice but when you are playing they are very good. I don’t genuinely care for brats. I get enough of that.” She replied with a sub. “I don’t want anyone so overwhelmed with all this that I doubt their consent. That is not appealing.”

She laughed at his near swear in front of her. No one tended to do that, not even prior to her ascension to the throne. After all, she had been the heir to the Vaneti’s Duchy since late childhood. As an old and prestigious family, propriety was all consuming at times. 

“My investigators reviewed all credentials and yours ranked high in terms of service, protection and most importantly, discretion. A contract will be sent from my counsel regarding my expectations regarding privacy. I expect them to be honoured, as much as I will honour yours. May I ask? The file was not clear? Did you work in this profession? Prior to running the business?”

She moved like dancing. Xavier couldn’t help but watch. Respectfully, of course. Georgette was a beautiful woman, but she was also royalty. He didn’t need to get thrown into prison for ogling her. He just didn’t know a lot of people whose bodies were so fluid. He put it aside, however, when she told him to sit.

Sit, he did, and at her question, the older Dominant raised a brow. “That’s right, your Majesty,” he responded. “I used to work with my cousin at Castlebrac and I really got the ins and outs there when I was working on staff as one of the managers. Some of the clients liked me and told me that I should be running a brothel. I’m not really about pitting cousin against cousin, though. So I found a niche Castlebrac couldn’t cover. House calls, high discretion for those that want it, but also escort services for lonely Dominants who want something even as simple as just having coffee with someone.”

He handed her a thick leather folio. “I printed this off the old fashioned way for you to have a look at. Some of what we do is in there, some of my guys and gals are in there, too. I can set you up with anything you like, as long as you’re willing to follow the rules of engagement. Standard practice for all of our clients to ensure the well-being of our employees, you know?” He gave her an easy grin even as he talked business, trying to create an air of easy confidence. 

Georgette took a delicate sip of her coffee and then set down her cup. She reached for the folio and nodded. “I usually do favour female submissives but I am not averse to a handsome young man either.” She shrugged lightly and nodded, “Of course, I will comply with any reasonable protections in place on behalf of your employees.” She was a little impressed that he was prepared to bold to protect them.

“Do you have any recommendations as to a young one who is discreet but eager to please?” Georgette asked with interest.

Xavier didn’t know what the hell he was expecting when he walked into the fucking new Queen’s office. He didn’t really tie much up in politics. Of course he had wanted Cyrus to get the throne, sure, but Georgette, while controversial for the way she had ascended, hadn’t done anything that would make Xavier believe that it was somehow universally repugnant to be here and about to ‘show his wares’ so to speak. Scherazade’s also could use a big wig client like this. Not that he would be able to advertise it. Still, word of mouth was one of his biggest business expanders and he was sure that Georgette had people in her circle that could use a little attention.

He hadn’t really dressed up or changed much about himself for this: Xavier was pretty much always unabashedly himself for any client. He thought it instilled confidence in his integrity if he was the same for every Tom, Dick, or Harry. Or Georgette, as the case may be. He’d cleaned up his beard and put on his least well loved leather jacket and jeans, but he still was the same old him. He wondered if that would bother her or not.

“Nah, your Majesty. I think it’s me who ought to be thanking you for reaching out.” He held out a hand to shake hers, though he wasn’t sure if he was allowed to do that. He supposed he’d find out.

The man rolled in looking like he needed a good spanking but that easy confidence screamed Dominant energy that even she had to admire the brass balls on this one. He was handsome but he clearly knew it. A man accustomed to being the charming rogue and was a rare case in having the brains to back it up if the stats on his business her researcher turned up had a lick of accuracy to them.

As he extended one hand, she bemusedly accepted the firm handshake and then released with well-trained good manners. “Please, have a seat.” she gestured gracefully with one hand before smoothing her skirt and doing so as well. “Now straight to business I suppose would be best. I understand for discretion and quality of available submissives, your agency is the best. Would you agree?”

A Private Meeting | Xavier

Every Dominant had needs and Georgette was no exception. While ordinarily she would frequent a high class institution like the Castlebrac. However it was owned by the House of Maine and that was not secure enough for her preference. Fortunately. Xavier’s service seemed like a good option, even though there were also ties to Maine, more so that she would like. So, a conversation was needed. She set down her tea cup as the door opened. She rose to her feet and nodded, “Good afternoon, M. Le Tallec. Thank you for coming today.”

“I do Sacha but please, there is only so much ego stroking I can do in one day.” Georgette murmured and then waved a hand imperiously at him. “Go. Do that best as you say. I shall expect great things of you.”

A brief flash of annoyance crossed Sacha’s face at her obvious dismissal before he quickly schooled it. It left him feeling utterly unimpressed by her actual ability to lead a country when she had such an obvious lack of interpersonal skills.  “Your highness,” he nodded as a farewell, and turned.  The sooner he was away from her the better.

His work was a point of pride for Sacha. Any doubt cast on that was downright offensive. “Vaneti always has my best, your highness. Of that, you should have no doubt,” Sacha said. He was the one that had filled the void left by Moonjo, after all. He’d been the one that stayed when he’d could have chosen to return to France. “If you have nothing else, I will get back to it.”

She had to be joking. He needed to find a matchmaking service now? “Of course, your highness.” Sacha paused. “I will vet an agency and give the name to your personal assistant. I do suggest, however, that you consider employing your own investigator for your prospects. The agency may vet them thoroughly but sometimes I second pair of eyes can see things that are buried far deeper.”

Georgette was pleased by his ready agreement and nodded at the suggestion. “I agree. I have several I use already. I’ll task them with the deep dive background. As I noted, I must be strategic and I need a claim. With that in mind, I expect your best work, as always. And of course, you’ll be compensated appropriately for it.”

Sure she did. She appreciated it so much she called Moonjo back to ensure she stayed in power. A brief look of incredulity passed over his face at the request before he regained his composure. “Let me ensure I understand exactly what you are requesting, your highness,” Sasha began, voice respectful though he remained skeptical. “You wish me to draft an agreement for a Claim with a person who has yet to be identified.” It was ludicrous. He hoped whoever she found also had a good lawyer. “I am sure you are aware that they will need to be modified appropriately based on who you find.”

“Yes, and look into a matchmaking service please. Something used by the elite of course. I need something that vets prospects thoroughly. It is important I don’t stumble now. There are three vultures circling and I will not lose this position due to strategic error.”
