Someday We’ll All Be Free by Donny Hathaway makes me cry everytime. The interlude is beautiful and that “keep on walking tall” line right after always makes me tear up. Those notes move me everytime. He had such a special/once in a lifetime voice and the message is so needed but the fact that he didn’t see value in his life and took it just.... does something to me.
