Thank you for this
For future reference
The first statement is definitely true as I've shown many times.. This in contrast to the last pic where after they whitewashed us out of history they would symbolize us by being devils instead which is the opposite of how black in Europe use to be viewed

All I can say is, out of my years of constantly being doubted by peers, made fun of, told I wouldn’t amount to anything in life, manipulated into thinking I couldn’t make something out of myself or make something out of the 24 hours God blessed each and every single one of us with…is that I’m glad to be here. I’m glad I held on through the rough, the ugly, the pain and dark because for some reason the lack of belief people had in me to be anything in life, the constant anxiety of being fearful of never becoming even a quarter of anything or anyone, the times of getting left outside clubs, not being able to get in, the lack of support from those who called me “family”, the ones who religiously called me “sis”/“bro” but damn near wouldn’t hesitate to entertain a conversation with someone bad naming or shading me…I needed it all to hustle. I needed it to cry and heal. I needed it to humble and proceed. I needed it to selectively trust. I needed it to make me realize that God is first. I needed it to make me realize that family, real supporters and loved ones hold it down through lows and genuinely applaud at highs. I needed it to be here today and be me. Thank you for that but most importantly thank you to those who have been supporting and believing in me from day 0. I needed it all.
