Hi hi :3 I'm gonna try to stick around here and see if it helps me stay motivated studying so thought I'd post an intro~
…. okay that's enough Japanese my brain is tired xD
I'm 26, from the US and have lived in China and the UK too. I'm around N2 level but most of my studying has been from random native content rather than learning resources, I always loved to just throw myself into content that's a bit too advanced and struggle through figuring things out :p Most of what I know (past beginner basics) was learned through repetition coming across it naturally. But, I feel like ever since returning from my study abroad in Japan (7+ years already…) I reached this plateau where I understand most content relatively well but can barely express myself, and having no tangible goal of going to Japan anymore means I’ve been much less motivated to study (;`・~・)
So… I'm still figuring out a study method that works for me right now, but I'm planning on basing it around shadowing youtubers. My main goal is to feel like I'm able to express myself without having to limit what I'm trying to say. Oh and I'm also trying to start learning Spanish, which is arguably more relevant to my life currently and what I should be focusing on but whatever lol
My other interests are k-pop, zoology, harajuku fashion, and reading bl :D I'd love to make friends so feel free to message me to talk about Japanese, Japan, or anything else!
