Idky I have so much hate towards Seventeen ;@; I saw they won 1st with Boom Boom & I just wanted to ball my eyes out because my NU'EST bbies haven't won 1st yet & it's just so unfair. NU'EST is my bias group & to see them work hard just to be looked past hurts my heart. :'(
Well, I can tell you that being angry with or hating on Seventeen isn’t going to solve anything, nor is it aimed in the right direction. Seventeen is not to be blamed for the mistreatment NU’EST has undergone; they in no way have control over NU’EST’s promotions/activities and I can guarantee a lot of what they’ve learned has come from their friendships with their seniors. I understand the feelings of frustration, but please don’t aim them at NU’EST’s junior group. They love, respect, and support each other so much and our fandoms should do the same. Besides, success for Seventeen is success for Pledis, and that means more opportunities for everyone under the label.
The only thing we can do is continue to support NU’EST fiercely and support Seventeen and Carats in their victories and hope that they have the heart to return the favor to us. I honestly grow very tired of seeing some LOVEs blame Carats/Seventeen for things they cannot control, and it in fact only furthers the gap between our fandoms when if we loved and supported each other, we could do amazing things for both groups.
Not to mention, a lot of Carats are LOVEs, and they shouldn’t have to be made to feel bad for supporting another group’s success just because NU’EST has yet to earn a win. We’ve come incredibly close this last era. We are more active and prepared than we have been in a long time and I think Pledis did hear LOVEs cries (ie: the large post that was made in the fancafe regarding the treatment of the boys) despite never giving us a formal statement (as they really should have, we deserve it). Just by giving them a double comeback this year and 13 videos for the Canvas era alone (compared to the 4 that were uploaded during Q is) and this is only counting the videos posted to YouTUBE. Pledis has done a lot to allow for the boys to be active and if they continue to ride this wave into another comeback around January or February, they can only go up. People are taking notice of them, bigger groups are threatened by us now, and we were never seen as a threat before.
Long story short, we need to band together with Carats and take care of each other. It’s a harsh industry, and if we fight each other, it only makes us weaker to every other “enemy” out there. Have hope and direct your anger towards something productive! We’re called LOVEs, so let’s spread it, ha ha!
