03x02. as much as i appreciate helaena and find her endearing (‘i think i’d like to keep chickens’ / ‘i won’t let any beast be harmed’), her writing is so inconsistent. i had low expectations to begin with, but the way blood and cheese is treated as if it never even happened or wasn’t that impactful (on helaena’s character, especially) is irking me so, so much 🤦🏻 i feel like i just lost chess to a dog. and i keep losing chess to that dog

Began reading A Clash of Kings and immediately I am Stannispilled. Thee most aged 34 year-old Westeros has ever seen with a brutal case of TMJ. Feels like reading about a septuagenarion except he will not stop reminding you he is Robert's wronged younger brother. Genuinely delighted by his damage.
