“Now you’re just being a tease,“ he said, raising an intrigued brow.
“Fine, I surrender. Keep your secret.“
Maristela smirked and shook her head. “I mean, being a tease is what I do best. “

Maristela rolled her eyes. “Plenty is wrong with a princess lifestyle. Like having way to high, never going to happen in your fucking life standards!” She said, highly aggravated by the girls words and how she is trying to defend herself, rather poorly in Maristelas opinion. “Try being less of a spoiled princess and people might actually give a shit what you say.” She said, going back to lounging on the bench.
‘ i think i’ve been swept off my feet. ’ (Maristela)
“Oh? And who, if I may ask, has managed to accomplish this rare feat?“ Jace was genuinely curious, as it had seemed that the pirate was a difficult nut to crack.
“Hmm, I’m not telling you.” She said in a song song voice. She grinned and winked at him

The girl rolled her eyes and sighed. “Are you that stupid? Pirates don’t bury treasure, we find it. Other than that, its adventurous and a lot more fun than a boring princess lifestyle. I’d rather be a pirate than a whiny, spoiled princess.” She shrugged.

Maristelas eyebrow went up and she scoffed. “I don’t really give a shit whether you like me or not.” She said, rolling her eyes
Rose could feel her face growing hot. It was turning dark red, a typical sign that she was about to enter tantrum mode. “You’re a very rude individual!”
Maristela couldn’t help but smirk at the girls face. “Good. Wouldn’t be much of a pirate if I wasn’t.” She shrugged

“Never said I was an expert, princess. “ She snarled. “But if they weren’t planted here then the climate probably isn’t right for them. That or someone else doesn’t like roses either.” She smirked
Rose gasped, her eyes widening upon hearing that the girl didn’t like roses. Everyone liked roses! “Oh yeah?! Well I don’t like you!” The princess did not do well when others disagreed with her.

“Not if they cannot survive here. They probably wouldn’t do well in the soil here or something.” Maristela shrugged. “Besides, roses aren’t needed in a garden to be a garden. They’re a highly over rated flower.”

With her bags in her bedroom, to her dismay, Rose decided to explore the castle. She hadn’t been looking around for long - perhaps ten minutes - when she became bored. Luckily she came to a pair of doors that led out to what appeared to be a garden.
Back home she spent hours in the rose garden, or the hedge maze. Maybe, if she had to spend any amount of time stuck on the island, she could spend the time in a beautiful garden.
Leaving through the doors, she entered the garden. There were various flowers, none of which were roses; white or red. This was abysmal. “What kind of garden doesn’t have rose?” she asked out loud, to no one in particular.
Maristela was bored herself and had taken to exploring the Island before coming across the garden. She wasn’t one for gardens, preferring the sea over any sort of land.
She had barely noticed the girl before turning at the voice, rolling her eyes before speaking. “This kind obviously. Maybe this climate isn’t good for roses.” She said, sitting on one of the benches provided and looking at her nails.
