he’s flying between real life && online, the dim light from his cellphone was enough to illumunate furrowed brows deep in concentration. ❛ SORRY--- !! I’m a little busy. ❜ lithe fingers glide over the keys to form words in four different search engines. he’s still reeling from the events of the trial && so far the lack in QUESTIONS did nothing to help his nerves. he doesn’t look up when ❛ Noiz, right? You can sit with me if you’re looking for a corner spot. ❜
I wanted my first post to shed some light on Yuri’s past profession which I didn’t have a lot of time to add into the bio so I’ll drop it here;
Yuri loved pole dancing-- I mean he loved it, it was a talent that was almost like second nature to him and he was good at it. He picked it up months after graduating from the program and when he took it up and started to show up to competitions and host his own live performances with other dancers, he felt himself brimming with confidence.
But, the public had more to say about his profession and wanted him to be taken down because that was too ‘scandolous’ for an Idol to do. Yuri, of course, underestimating the power of the people, refused to quit his dancing. That did not settle well with people, at all.
Although he had gained an influx of support and love from fans when he stood his ground, a wave of unsavory events followed too. He’d get threats, disgusting letters, and so on from people who just couldn’t stand to see him taint the pure image an Idol was supposed to maintaine. What really broke the straw on the camels back was that someone did make an attempt to injure him, which spooked Yuri so bad that he did quit dancing.
