Hello and welcome to this blog!

My name is Comet Yuusonya, and I'm the host here! Feel free to call me just about anything--Comet, Yuu, Prefect, Grim's Mother, whatever works. My friends and I are all here to answer questions, rp, chat, whatever else! A list of everyone included here will be at the bottom of the post.

Come get to know us--ask whatever questions you'd like! Let me set some ground rules really quick.

1. NO NSFW -- Flirting is fine, but no NSFW. A lot of us are minors or freshly 18, and A LOT of us are asexual.

2. Please be kind! I am just a girl, a child, even. Please treat me as you would another human being. I have boundaries and I want them respected. This extends to all my friends.

3. Please be patient! Life's kinda busy, things happen. If we don't respond immediately, we'll get back within a day or two. Please don't bug us about responding to your asks, I promise we see them.

4. We curse here! This means you can to, but if you don't want anything to do with that, probably best to steer clear. I never use curse words to insult another, and neither should you. No slurs either please. Those are my only rules on cursing here. Otherwise be free to say fuck lmao

5. Fellow OCs are welcomed here and encouraged to interact!!! Tell me everything about your OCs I love them all!!!!

6. This is a safe place! No judging others' identities, OCs, requests, etc--including mine.

Comet’s Adventures Chapter 1 (redone)

Finally decided to come back to this. Note that this is before Comet has met ANYONE aside from Crowley, Grim, Ace and Deuce.

Comet Yuusonya leans over the cold, busted sink of Ramshackle’s bathroom, a rusted pair of scissors she found hovering over her hair.

‘Am I really going to go through with this?’ Comet internally asks herself.

For as long as she could remember, Comet’s long blue hair has been a staple of her appearance, and the mere thought of chopping it all off brings tears to the corners of her eyes. She takes a deep breath, closing her eyes, desperate to hold back the bubbling emotions rising in her throat.

‘As much as I don’t want to, the hair would be a dead giveaway that I’m not a boy.’

Ever since she had arrived in Twisted Wonderland, dazed and confused, Comet had concealed her hair in the ceremonial robe’s hood or in her janitor uniform. Now that she’s attending this school as an actual… half a student, she can’t do that anymore.

‘I can’t afford a school full of teenage boys knowing that not only do I lack magic, but I’m a girl too. They’re ruthless, I wouldn’t survive a day like that.’

Comet stares at her reflection in the cracked, dirty mirror for what could easily feel like hours. All of that silence is spent internally debating whether or not she’s really going to do this.

‘I have to play it as safe as I can,’ she decides, after a near endless battle with her anxiety. ‘Hair will grow back eventually.’

Taking one more deep breath, Comet braces herself, lines the scissors up one more time, and then…

Well, the cut is messy—not much else is expected from a pair of barely functional scissors—but it will do. Comet frowns, staring at the pile of her hair on the cold bathroom tile.

Comet hardly has the energy to even let it sink in that she just chopped her hair off. It’s not really worth dwelling on, anyway; what’s done is done. She sweeps the floor up and leaves the bathroom, trying to set aside the heavy weight resting on her shoulders.

Now she just needs to figure out how to blend in.

Comet flops down onto the mattress. It creaks uncomfortably, waking up Grim, who had just barely fallen asleep mere minutes ago. He grumbles, irritated by the interruption to his sleep.

“…Hey, Grim.”

Comet begins, staring at the ceiling.

Grim’s ear twitches, but he doesn’t otherwise acknowledge her speaking.

“What are some good boy names, do ya’ think?”

Grim lifts his head, confused by the sudden question.

“That’s a stupid question. Why’re you askin’ me?”

Comet sighs. She figured he wouldn’t be much help.

“I’m not about to waltz out into an all-boys school like this. Besides, if what’s-his-face is trying to find a way to get me home, it’s… probably better if I don’t get super attached to people I’ll just leave behind eventually. So I thought I’d come up with a… persona, of sorts. Just a temporary one. But I’m gonna need a name,” she explains, clasping her hands over her stomach.

Grim rolls his eyes, tail flicking behind him before curling up at his side.

“That sounds like a lot of work for a non-issue.”

“Yeah, well, it’s a big issue to me, whether or not you get why. Any name ideas?”

“This ain’t my business. I’m goin’ back to sleep.”

Grim shifts around in his own little mattress on the ground.

Comet huffs, closing her eyes. Somehow, she had a feeling he would brush off her concerns. The strange cat-like creature she’s gotten stuck with doesn’t seem to give a damn about anybody but himself.

‘Maybe I can give myself another space name,’ Comet thinks, shifting on the broken, slightly uncomfortable make-shift bed. ‘I gave myself one before, coming up with another shouldn’t be too hard.’

Comet thinks in silence, letting her thoughts run wild in attempts to find a good name.

‘My actual name is Comet… maybe… something like asteroid… Aster? Nah, that doesn’t feel right. Cosmo? It’s kind of like Comet. Mm… I dunno.’

She runs through many names, from planets to galaxy names, to the names of Greek gods from her home universe. Would it be too on-the-nose to do something like that?

‘Maybe I just need to think a little outside of the box?’ Comet pauses. ‘There’s the asteroid belt, and then there’s another belt out by Neptune… what was that one called again? It started with a K.’

Comet wracks her brain for the name. She knows it, it’s just on the top of her tongue.

‘Kuiper Belt! That’s what it’s called.’

Comet opens her eyes, humming softly to herself.

‘Kuiper is kind of spelled in a way that… it could be pronounced like Cooper. I mean, it’s actually pronounced like Kai-per, but… maybe I can pass that off? It could be a reasonable name, I think.’

Comet lets it sit for a moment.

‘Kuiper—I… kind of like that. I’d rather not just call myself… Cooper, but I like how it’s pronou- you know what, I don’t need to linger on the semantics. I like Kuiper, I’ll go with that. Kuiper Yuusonya. That is, if the nickname “Yuu” doesn’t spread. I guess that would work too.’

And thus, Kuiper was created. Tomorrow would be his first debut—Comet only hoped he could protect her in this strange, new world.

With a mild spark of hope, and a lot of anxiety, sleep eventually takes over, and Comet drifts off to sleep.

Hello, everybody! I'm Everest. I just wanted to hop on briefly, now that I'm back on Tumblr thanks to Comet. I did have an account of my own, once, but I forgot about it rather quickly... I suppose, since I'm here, I'll share something from my previous Mountain Lovers Club meeting! Jade and I found a unique blue flower out in the mountains. We're still trying to find out what it was, but this is the sketch I made of it! If anyone else has seen it before, I would love to know. It was this beautiful, vibrant shade of deep blue.

Hey, so I had a fun thought for an OC (she’s not twisted from anyone, just a OC) that I have. But I wanted to see if it be fun to explore some more and this blog seems like a safe place to set her up that’s not my family.

So I was thinking, if Yuu can be from another world, why not a student that came to NRC from another time? Like the future, but to add another punch to gut, she goes back in time for this school… around the same time as her parent (dad) who has no idea who she is. Really this is a cycle thing, kinda like Back to the Future, except, there’s no back to the Future.

I’d thought it’d be funny because my OC is also in the same dorm as her parent and can’t exactly say anything about it, has to be super vague about her life on purpose, but things slip. But with the vagueness and the slips, everyone puts together a story that they all think is her secret that is both true to an extent, but also totally wrong, well, I’d say it’s not even funny, but that’s a lie, I think it’s hilarious. And my OC doesn’t even realize it until closer to the conclusion/beginning of the end.

I have more on my OC like names looks and stuff, but I kinda wanted to see how her general background goes before I give out the full details. Do you think she sounds fun? Or did I make it seem too Mary-Sue? Or did I make it too ridiculous?

Sorry, this route I’m going with this OC is totally different than what I normally do, so I’m an bit extra nervous on how it’d be received.

//ooc Hi!! Honestly this sounds like a super fun concept for a character and I 100% support it! I'm personally of the belief that there's no such thing as making a character "too Mary-Sue" or "too ridiculous" or anything, characters are created to have fun with! It also gives tons of space for really fun and interesting interactions and dynamics as your character tries to hide a big secret like that... plus the struggles that come with having to face your parent who doesn't know who you are?? I've messed around with this kind of idea before and it's always been super fun! I'm in full support of this!
