Spring’s fresh air blows out of town, leaving behind the blazing summer sun to warm the streets of lowly Hawkins, of which was left behind by many of its residents. Amidst the new military presence, flocks of birds returning from their migratory journey, and giant portals to the underworld, stands Will Byers in the basement of the Wheeler house; and he may as well be the loneliest boy in the world.

Will, whether he likes it or not, doesn’t speak much to his friends and family, and especially not to Mike Wheeler. Despite this, he still tries to keep a balance of all his former relationships whilst dealing with the threat of Vecna—and the potential of a budding romance with his "best friend."
