Oh that's kinda long story but I'll try explain it comprehensible. Short answer- his close friend.
The character in trend is younger version of my main OC. For convenience, I will just use names. So, the older one is Conan and the younger one is Connie. Conan have his own story in cannon,, but long story short, eventually he gets married with his soulmate from past life.
Particular Connie and his friend are the younger versions of characters I already told about. They met because of time anomaly and actually were a sort of joke with my co-author (in fact roleplayer yeah..,,,) but afterwards they became an separate AU and then even gave rise to more AUs...
In this one story these mini-versions becoming very close friends, but after a while time anomaly putting them back to their timelines (in fact they were two years apart in age, but because of time anomaly they were both one age, like, the youngest one was literally from near future). They promise to find eachother when they grow up, but a lot of time passes before this moment.
This trend just perfectly fit that AU, because I'm sure he (friend) definitely WILL start forgetting his face and will be scared and as hell aware this. Feel this scent of angst?? (･ัω･ั)
