Working on a wings of fire coloring page rn cause I’m bored.
What if I drew @saturncoyote ‘s guys as dragons, again.
First post on this account ! Take a Peril
For every dragon, there is another dragon
Do you think the bar song that Webs taught the dragonets is the only song they ever knew? Do you think that they only knew that and whatever they might've read in their scrolls? Do you think that they took every chance they could to hear any music after they where free?
That Clay had an epiphany of sorts when he accidentally led the prisoners in song. That it filled him with such a hope and sense of community that it wouldn't leave his mind. And at Jade Mountain he takes up learning music himself in his free time, and once he thinks he's advanced enough he helps out with the actual classes.
That Tsunami could never really be good at music stuff no matter how she tried because she's tone deaf. But that doesn't stop her from enjoying herself whenever she gets the chance. At one point her only relationship with music was to holler the only song she knew to try to get some kind of comeuppance against her abusers. Now, she's FREE and she gets to be ALIVE, and she expresses this joy when she caterwauls along with whatever is being played.
That Glory wouldn't take herself to be the type of dragon to like something like that, and yet she does. She can't find too much time to engage in music, but she does try to learn what she can about the RainWing's musical culture. She becomes good friends with her subjects who are skilled in the craft, and encourages the NightWing's to also engage. If there's ever a celebration of any kind, she will make sure that music will be a part of it.
That Starflight finds life to start getting a little mundane after they finally find a routine. Fatespeaker very subtly says that he should get a hobby. He asks her what he could possibly do now that he's blind, and after she beats it into his head that yes, there are still things you are able to do, and no, he shouldn't feel like he needs to be perfect at whatever he decides to try. He's heard about how Clay's taken an interest in music and thinks, "How hard can it be?" It's hard. And it's the perfect challenge for him. He spends late nights in the deepest parts of Jade Mountain trying to hone his skills, and also so that Tsunami doesn't hear him and make fun of his mistakes, or worse, sing along.
That Sunny still feels a lot of pent up emotions from, well, everything. She's never been the best at letting them out because of how her natural response is to just put on a smiley facade. At one point she confides to Clay about this, and he tells her that he's got just the thing. He leads her to the music classroom, hands her some drums, and just tells her to let it out. It doesn't need to sound pretty or like anything really, it just needs to be something that comes from her. After that she keeps coming back. She doesn't really try to take up learning anything about music, and just uses it for the release and enjoyment of it.
Anyway, I'm mentally ill. Good night.

Good night.
