My dream home (inspired by @cottagemoridollynatural)
Its gotta be around 500 sq ft
I want a small porch with a rocking chair
Needs to have a big window (maybe two)
Fenced in yard for my dogs
I'd like everything in my home to have more than one purpose (couch has storage underneath, etc.)
I want to have a spot to hang laundry, preferably near a river and in the sun!
I want an out door washer, possibly in the river.
I want everything to run on hydro and solar power.
I want to live near a river deep enough for a water wheel
I want a water purifier so I dont have to go into town if I dont have to
I want to raise my own chickens and ducks and maybe a goat or two
I want to keep my own bees so I can make and sell my own honey
I want my own garden and green house so I can sell any vegetables I dont use at a market or a vegetable stand
I'd love to have a root cellar or two
One for storing canned goods and seasonal gear
The second one for family and friends that want to stay on holiday or for a visit
I want a composting toilet outside
I love outhouses so I'd probably put one not far from my house
I also want an outdoor shower
It can be with a pump or a solar shower bag
My dream is to find 3 acres somewhere in Tennessee with an open field, woods and a river running through it.
Once everything is built I'd like to open it up for people who'd like to live off grid or experience the lifestyle for a little bit! Maybe have a spot for people to park their campers or set up tents.
I want children in neighboring town's to think I'm a forest spirit or a witch and to make up scary stories about me at camp fires.
