great, just great. of course his family would choose to visit him the same day sakura was coming over. it wasn’t that he hated his family – sure, he was a bit scared of his mother at times, but it was out of reverence. but he had been looking forward to his date spending some alone time with sakura, and he knew sakura would want to say hello, and it was all just too much. he still could hardly wrap around the fact that they were dating. he loved sakura more than anything else, but that didn’t mean he would magically gain some semblance of romantic prowess.
sakura arrived on time just as expected, and he practically sprinted to the door to get it before someone else did. he cracked it open just the slightest, barely enough to see sakura’s face, and held onto the door with a death grip. “ hey, um … how about instead of staying here, we go out somewhere … ? l - like, um, a real date … ” he trailed off, face burning up. it seemed no matter how he played his cards he’d just end up getting embarrassed. // @staright
to say sakura was excited for today was an understatement. she was basically bouncing off the walls at home! her and syaoran hadn't spent as much time with just the two of them since he had returned. they were in different classes, so she understood why, but she still wanted to spend as much time as she could with him! before leaving, she had checked her outfit one-no, three times before she felt good enough to head over to the other's home.
her face turned a bright red hearing his words... a real date, huh? anything felt like a real date when she was with him, but he didn't need to know that. as long as syaoran was there she didn't care where they went! nodding a bit, she smiled.
" sure! that sounds fun! where do you want to go? "
