Just finished Barons of Sorrow SPOILERS!

This is just how I picture them! I LOVED this book #11

I liked all the forsyth books, but the mystery of this one is deeper than roots and darker than blood, and just as messy. I loved the further development of Ari and DK’s relationship, and the work/progress made in the relationship she has with Hunter and Timothy. He took the mask off and showed her who he was, Hunter has made it clear that he definitely wants her, he just doesn’t fully trust himself with her.

I WANT THE CATS IN THE HOUSE!!! I also want more scenes with Ares, and Ares with the cats lol🤭

I loved the cliffhanger and set up for the next book #12! But i’m so scared. Angel Lawson does a good job of making me terrified to read the series but also has me not being able to put them down. I read the first 9 books in a single month! I literally ripped through those books lol! I was immediately obsessed! I’d never read dark romance like that before and came up with a term of “Bleak Romance” lol sometimes the books really hurt my heart and punched me in the gut, and this one was strange for me because in the previous books the girls were put through the ringer! Do you hear me!

That’s not to say Ari wasn’t, I mean she literally died at one point. I guess it’s because she kind of craves it in a way the other girls didn’t. She wants them through and through and I think that may have to do with the fact that there was no previous connection between her and her barons.

Story knew her lords from when they were younger, Vinnie knew Nick from their transporting days, and Verity knew pace from the dating app, that and she was raised with the dukes so she already had a taste of that life style.

Okay, i’m going to guess the “Guardian” is either somehow Timothy’s wife, or maybe graves. Idk🤷🏽‍♀️

I just finished it so my thoughts are all over the place the place. I’ll give a better review talk about it when i’ve settled lol

The next one on my list is gonna be spicier; then maybe another that's ABO. After that, imma get back to drawing fluff scenes cuz there's like an AU where Fran and Mich have biological children together (cuz beebooboobopbububap) and I'm excited to draw an ensemble.
