Two more headcanons about Ilya's niece:

She was often left home alone while she was way too young so her parents could go out and party. If they couldn't find someone to watch her, they just...left. When he was back in Moscow for the off-season, Ilya would sometimes get guilt tripped into watching her when Alexei said that they would just leave their daughter by herself if he said "no".

Ilya promised he would take her to Disney World one day. He was sincere at the time, but it never came to pass with him cutting off contact with Alexei and coming out of the closet. He still thinks about it from time to time when he sees princess merch at a store or at the Pikes' house, and wonders if she remembers.
