ATLK Prologue- The Titan King's Fall and A Goddess's Grief}
Story: For Years and Decades, The World has been Different Then and Now, Wounded by it's own Excesses, Scarred by Climate and Conflict. But it's still recognizable, still a home to ancient species that lived and walked the Earth long before Humanity's Ancestors Descended from the Trees.
Mothra, The Moth Goddess of All Monsters and Titans, Remembered the First time she saw him in 1964.
He had risen from the depths off the coast of Japan, Drawn from the same Pulse of Radiation that awoken her from her slumber. Three hundred feet of Primal Power, his scales the color of the Clouds of a Thunder Storm, his eyes burning of atomic fire. The Humans call him Gojira, or Godzilla in their Western Tongue, They had trembled before him, as they should have trembled before all titans.
But she had never trembled. Instead, She had Flown to meet him, her wings spanning the sky, as her bioluminescence painting the clouds in the shades of both Gold and Azure. Gojira and Mothra had circled each other for hours, Two both Apex beings and Survivors of an age when the Earth was Young, taking each other's measure, and then, impossibly, became friends. Not Lovers, Nor a Couple, That was Human Concept, too small for what they were. Not just Allies, that implied negotiation, terms, a broken agreement. What they Become was a Bond that transcend language, species, or even the vast gulfs of time that separated their origins.... They Were Kin.
He was the King of the Monsters, the Alpha, The Enforcer of Nature and Balance, the one who kept the balance when Titans stirred, and Both The Destroyer and the Protecter.
She was the Guardian, the Healer, the Protector, and the one who remembered why the balance mattered. Together, They maintained order for decades.
When Ghidorah came-- The Golden Death, The One Who's Many-- they had fought side-by-side and driven him back into the Void.
When lesser titans awoke, angry, scared and confused, they guided them back to sleep or to hidden places where they could exist without threatening the fragile human world. It had not been easy and it certainly had not been peaceful, but it had been right... And Then, in 2027, after The Battle and defeat of The Tyrannical Red-Haired Ape, The Skar King..... The Humans changed, and The Great Betrayal Happened.
The Coalition--- it hadn't been called that yet, was still the remnants of something that had once called itself the United States—had grown afraid.
Not unreasonably, she supposed. The titans were terrifying to beings so small, so fragile, so brief. Even the benevolent ones—even her—could cause devastation simply by existing, simply by moving through a world built to human scale.
But fear had curdled into hatred. Hatred into action. Action into atrocity, and So begins Project Götterdämmerung.
She had learned the name later, pieced together from fragments of intelligence and quite-down confessions. A coordinated assault on every, single location, using weapons that should never have been created or made— Quantum Destabilizers, Genetic Plagues, and even things that that twisted the Fabric of reality.
They started off with the Small and Weaker ones, then the Middle-Class ones, then Stronger ones. She had felt them die— each one light going out, a Thread snapping in the Web of Life that connected all Titans... Then they're coming for Godzilla.
She tried to warn him, had flown into his territory in the depths of the Pacific, sung to him in a language they had developed over decades of companionship.
"Danger, Betrayal, They are coming for us all."
He had understood. Had risen from the depths to meet the threat, to protect the others, to do what he always does— Maintain the Balance, enforce the peace, be the king.
... But They had been ready for him.
The weapons they used... She still couldn't fully comprehend, 'nor understand them. Those Technologies that seemed to bend the laws of physics, energies that shouldn't have existed in the material world. They had hit him with everything they had--- a Bombardment that lasted 3 days and nights, twisting the Pacific into a Cauldron of Fire and Radiation. She tried to reach him. Had thrown herself against their defense, burned through weapons platform and scattered fighter squadrons, had fought with every ounce of power her ancient body possessed.
It was not enough.
She felt the moment he fell— the great body of The Titan King sliding down beneath into the waves one last time, his glowing Atomic Fire Flickering and going completely dark. She felt the sound he made one last time— not a roar, not a cry, but something slightly softer. Something that may have been her name, if Titans had names the way humans understood them. She remembered the science that followed... And then... She remembered rage.
She had wanted to destroy them. In the moment of grief, she had understood— Truly understood— why Ghidorah had sought to burn down the world. The Humans were parasites, vermin, a plague upon the Earth that created, consumed and destroyed without thought or consequences. They had murdered her king, her friend, her .... Soulmate. Though even it fell short.
She had gathered her power, and felt her ancient power and forces responding to her fury, so big that would have scorched the world, annihilated Human life clean... But then she stopped. Because she could hear him, Not his voice, But his memory. His purpose. The thing he spend some millions of years to preserve: Balance.
The humans were part of the Balance, too, however imperfectly. They were children— destructive, reckless, selfish and terrified children— But children nonetheless. And children could learn, grow, and become something better than what they were. If someone is patient enough to teach them and willing to wait.
She released her power— not as destruction, but for transformation, letting vast of energies that made true form dissolve and reconstitute, feeling herself shrinking, changing, becoming something new. When it was over, she was this.
Human in form, if not in essence. Small enough to move through their world completely unnoticed. Weak enough— by the Standards of Titan and Kaiju alike— that their weapons wouldn't detect her as a threat, nor to track her down.
She had walked out of the Pacific Ocean, naked, grieving and utterly alone. And she had been walking ever since..
Note: To any of you Godzilla Fans who may be saddened upon the death of your beloved Kaiju in this story, I deeply understand for what I did. Trust me, Keep reading. And as Consistent I am to Toho's Specific Guidelines about killing off Godzilla early on in this Fan Story of Mine: Godzilla's Spirit is still alive, and chooses a human host, Ryū Serizawa. Keep in Mind, this is Just my Passion Project.

A Titan King's Legacy- Gojira/Godzilla, Before The Great Betrayal (the Kaiju Wars) Happened.
Fun Fact: My Version of Godzilla is a Hybrid between Toho's Heisei Goji and Minus One Goji, and Monsterverse Godzilla.

Go! Rocky, Go!
Ryū Serizawa, The Descendent of The Serizawa Family, A Bridge between two Worlds between Human and Kaiju, and Founding Leader of Division 54!
Lore: Ryū Serizawa was Born and Raised in Ise Jingu, Japan, on April 24th, 2306. by the Age of Twelve, Ryū was Sick from Radiation Poisoning, Really Sick. His Father, Minato Serizawa, Did everything he could to help his son to get better, Using Radiation Treatment by Transferring the Cells of Gojira(Godzilla in Western Tongue), Thus Mutating him into a Smaller, Humanoid version of The Titan King, Thus Keeping Ryū alive and a little well. Some years later, however, in 2320, by the age of sixteen, he was discovered on a crashed battleship in the Bikini Atol Harbor and almost taken by the North American Coalition(who wanted to use him as a Weapon, but doesn't know his lineage, or how he got that radioactive DNA of that creature who they destroyed), only for Mothra, The Lady of The Hollows, and the Cynically Weary and Grieving Survivor of Kaiju Genocide, to find and save him from getting into the Wrong Hands of the North American Emperor, thus taking him into the Hollow Earth, and would eventually Mentor and Guide him about the Balance between his Human Side, and the Spirit of the King of the Monsters living inside him.
Well...

Day 7- Bake-Kujira The Bake Kujira translates to ghost whale and is thought to inhabit the Sea of Japan. Bake Kujira are animated whale skeletons that sail near the surface of the sea, rising as they did in life when the would’ve had to of breathed. These ghost whales are followed by hosts of eerie birds and strange fish. They appear in rainy nights near coastal whaling villages. I haven’t added to this challenge in so long!
