That’s all her brother told her, he didn’t want to say how or what was the debt, the only words that came from his mouth were the knowledge of the debt itself. Shunsuke was always like this, he never told his sister about those matters, just when they exploded the conversation was taken, and right now this wasn't the best of the decisions he could had made.
He opened to her, there was no money to pay anything, and that was the reason why the purple haired man had been working past his hour to get some extra money on his job, however this wasn't just enough. Shun has to pay the debt, but there was no way on helping him at this point, only by cutting something…
"Maybe being home schooled by your big brother wouldn't be so bad after all…" that's what he said, trying to pass as a joke but clearly this was something worrying.
Marianne was only 16, and even if she was at high school already, passing the next years homeschooled wouldn't be that good… She surely wanted to help, but she couldn't think on anyway but finding a part-time job at somewhere to gather money and help him. That was the idea the pink haired girl had and she had almost everything settled, but she first needed advices to put her plan on motion, and so she did ask to the first person she ever thought about.
"A Part-time job?" The brown haired girl in front of Mari said without taking her eyes from the paper she held, from time to time correcting the subject of the paper with a pencil or by passing her finger on it to smooth it.
Emille, an art college student. She barely knew much about her, but the pink haired girl felt like she could trust on Emille at first sight. They met at an event, Mari had got lost and the brown haired girl was sweet enough to help her. In the end, they became friends and exchanged numbers during the day, and for some magical reason Mari simply didn't forget to answer her 'Hey!' as she usually would with other people. Maybe it was for the best, Mille was definitely a good helper.
"Why don't you try here?" She finally put down the paper on the table, showing the drawing hidden until now.
"You think it would be nice? I feel like Kazue doesn't like me around…" the Blue Moon cafe was a cat cafe found around the Harajuku district, the decoration was pretty filled with blue lamps all around the place to create a night atmosphere, the place was one of Mille's favorite place to hang out for being comfortable and good for her to get living references for clothing, however Mari felt kinda weird as Kazue, the owner, would from time to time look to her with a not pleased look.
"Don't worry, she is a nice girl… She is just working on her trust for people…"
The talk was soon interrupted by the sound of screams. A bunch of girls screaming as they looked to the TVs that the cafe had, right now a variety show was happening and on the screen the vision of two dark haired men appeared. The screams varied from "Shy-sama!" To "Tokiya!" All around the store, making some of the cats scared and jumping from the girls' arms to their hidden spots. Today on the show, Lagrange Point and some members of ST★RISH were called to participate on a game. The boys would go one against the other in various activities, this time it was a quiz, the one who got it wrong would end up getting wet and it happened that both Tokiya Ichinose and Shy Makishima got the question wrong, making both of the idols wet and forcing them to show off a bit of their body for the audience to see.
Those guys were idols, top idols. They had the eyes of girls and boys to them and Mari was one of their fan. Maybe not exactly of Shy and Tokiya but definitely their fellow partners. It was her daydream to be next to them, maybe the daydream of every fan… But oh, how she wished to next to them so badly right now. Maybe if she was there, that meant she wouldn't had to deal with the worries of her brother's mysterious debt neither the threat of not finishing school.
"That's it…" an idea came to the pink one's mind. "Mille! Let's become idols!!" She said in such a cheerful tone that startled the poor brown haired girl who was taking a sip of her frappuccino.
"What…. You're talking about?!" Mille had choked with the startle and now tried to talk between coughs
"Come on! This would be nice!" Mari started to defend her point "We could have a lot of money with our CDs so this would help me with my brother's problem and you would be able to get a bunch of pretty boy's number so you can draw them naked for your art!"
"Mari, that's your desire to see a man naked, not mine!" The older one finally recomposed herself "Besides, I have a lot to do and you wouldn't hold for three minutes as an idol!"
It hurt to say that Emille was right, but she wanted to try! This was something she really wanted to do, and even if it was painful she would keep insisting on it until she reached her goal. But first, she had to convince the older one. After that day, Marianne was determined to keep asking her friend for collaborating with her idea every single day. She kept refusing for one week straightly, no matter what happened , but after that Mari had the idea that would change Mille's mind forever. And once the Monday of the second week started… one single message was sent.
"You could be able to met him if you were an idol."
Mille didn't gave her any answers after this message. It took one entire day, just when she arrived at the cafe, when she was asking Kazue for a time with one of the cats, the door opened showing an unpleasant but blushing Emille looking at the pink haired girl angrily as if she would kill her.
"This is dirty play." It was everything that she said making the owner of the cafe confused with the scene
