I am 19 and from England with an interest in circus skills. I have been spinning poi since I was about 8 but I also enjoy other skills including hooping, juggling, stilt walking and slowly learning to unicycle.

I recorded the choreo from my performance last weekend so I don’t lose it forever when I inevitably forget. This isn’t the performance, just me doing the choreo in my backyard. It was my first time dancing solo and the first time I choreographed my own dance. The opening hoop spin bit works much better inside than out on the dirt, and I kind of forget what’s happening at the end here, but c’est la vie. I’m equally torn between wanting to hide this away forever and wanting to show everyone! The song is The Beach by Parov Stelar.
