Hey everyone. My name is Patrick, and I’m one of Jeri’s good friends. It pains me to say this, but Jeri passed away on June 9th. I know how much her Tumblr and all of you meant to her, so I felt like is was important to let you all know. 

Our friend group is planning on doing an event where we write Jeri a letter, and send it up to her by burning it with white sage. If anyone wants to participate in this event, you are welcome to write a message to this account, and we’ll print it and burn it on your behalf. It can be as long or as short as you want and write it as if you were messaging or talking to her. Lastly, I want to thank every single one of you for bringing joy into this lovely girls life.

I’m writing music again!

This block lasted two whole months. I find that if I let inspiration come to me naturally—versus forcing it out of me—the creative process feels much more fluid and vibrant. But honestly, I really hope that after this burst inevitably dissipates, I don’t need to wait another two months for the sweet musical muses to whisper in my ear.

Pokemon is good because everybody who plays is given the exact same storyline and choices, but every person has a completely unique experience.

There are currently over 750 trillion different team combinations, even each individual pokemon has only a 1 in 50 billion chance of being identical to another of the same species. And that’s not even including pokemon having different moves… That means that every Pokemon is a valuable once in a lifetime companion, and your adventure with your pokemon is and will always be completely unique to you, and that’s really special.

I love my brother and his fiancée so freaking much. We watched some of the first season of Twin Peaks today (my first real time!) and for the first couple episodes, whenever a character ate something (donuts, cherry pie, salmon, etc.) he would bust out a snack to match it. It was really neat! I forsee a lot of coffee consumption during future marathons. This is definitely going down as one of my favorite ways to watch a series. 

I get easily overwhelmed by such quaint, genuine moments. It’s the little things in life that really make it something special.
