Anyway, in any verse where Lyanna survives, she is extremely protective of Jon. She might not be able to claim him, depending on the circumstances, but even if Jon is supposedly a bastard of Ned or Brandon, she would still be incredibly protective of him and invested in his wellbeing. Â
If she is forced to simply act as his aunt, she would do her best to seem not to favor him over Nedâs children, but she would try to explain it away as trying to provide the sort of maternal warmth Jon cannot receive from a mother or Catelyn. And if she were actually allowed to be his mother, she would never let him be ashamed of his bastardy, and would teach him that legitimacy doesnât matter, because no matter what, his mother loves him and thatâs what matters.

âThe fuck kind of name is JON ?â
Still obsessed with the idea of Lyanna speaking to Jon in his dreams

Iâll probably wind up using more icons/gifset/whatnot of Lyra from the series rather than the movie, simply because thereâs more material from the show, but itâs very important to me to let you know my Lyra 100% has curly hair

BRB, crying about Lyanna and Rickard
Rhaegar: Well, it's time for Plan B.
Lyanna: We have a Plan B?
Rhaegar: No, but it's time for one.
AU where Lyanna approaches Elia after Harrenhall and gives her the flower crown and apologizes for the insult towards her, even if Lyanna herself didnât actually do it.
All of you vs  me never shutting the fuck up about how Lyanna was 14 at Harrenhal
Lyanna did not love Rhaegar. Lyanna was charmed by Rhaegar, she was impressed by Rhaegar, she liked Rhaegar, she might have even been fond of him after a while. But she was never really in love with him. She agreed to run away with him, to give him what he said he needed, in exchange for freedom from her betrothal and the promise of the adventure she had always longed for. Highborn though she might be, she was only fourteen when she met Rhaegar, and he was many years older, as well as the heir to the throne. If he wanted something from her, how could she dare refuse, after all ?  She agreed, she went willingly, but that doesnât mean the Tower of Joy was a happy place for her. At first, she thought it would be, she thought it all exciting and fanciful and maybe even a little romantic. But she quickly became overwhelmed and unhappy as rebellion brewed and war broke out. By the time her child was born, Lyannaâs life had become nothing but isolation and misery. She blamed Rhaegar for enticing her to run away, for using her, for the rebellion and the war and the deaths. She blamed Rhaegar because that was easier than admitting that she blamed herself. When she heard that Rhaegar had fallen at the Trident, she wept for the king who should have been, the father that his children would not know, and the man who might have been her dear friend if the world had been different.
She was fond of Rhaegar. She hated Rhaegar. She mourned Rhaegar.
â youâve only been here five minutes, and youâve already managed to offend me twice. â ( persephone at orpheus )
â WELL, I CERTAINLY donât mean to offend, maâam. â Humble boy looks down towards his worn boots, scuffing a toe in the dirt in embarrassment. He would never wish to offend a soul, and to have accidentally displeased the lady of spring brings a hot flush of shame to his cheeks.
â Lady Persephone, I do beg your pardon. Iâm here to find Eurydice, you see, and then weâll go right home, and not bother you anymore, I promise. â
