Brazilian graphic designer and illustrator Butcher Billy got the idea of turning famous love hits into book covers of horror master Stephen King. 

Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” The Smiths, “Head Over Heels” by Tears For Fears and many others were portrayed in a very unusual way.

“This series imagines an alternate universe where some of the most desperate and tragic romantic songs in the ‘70s and’ 80s are actually books written by Stephen King. The concept is to look at the dark side of love by the vision of pop culture, bringing aspects of its classic stories to play the true meaning of the songs - this can be completely subverted or stressed strangeness, while paying tribute to the vintage design of the original covers,” Butcher writes on his Behance.

“Beneath your dancing feet are the tombs of tortured men - Thus does the Red Death rebuke your merriment!” The original 1925 release of The Phantom of the Opera contained 17 minutes of Technicolor footage (plus a stenciled color insert). Only the Bal Masque sequence survives intact.

We already KNOW the potion is somewhat unstable when it comes to emotions, if we consider green-eyed Jekyll. The first time that occurred Hyde wasn’t even trying. And Hyde’s experiencing a similar emotional distress and I’m probably wrong but hey-

I love these visuals the past two pages. Hyde physically wrestling with the nightmares? Jekyll appearing in his reflection in the water beneath him? Hyde falling into the sewers followed by a dogpile of monsters? Heck yeah!

Also, Jekyll’s cold analysis and evasion of the situation, ignoring all his own feelings and simply projecting them all onto Hyde like he has no part to play in Hyde’s behaviour and none of his analysis can tell him anything about himself? I wonder at what point Henry’s going to look at Hyde’s behaviour and go “Oh shit, those ARE my repressed emotions.”
