It’s impossible to fucking scroll on tumblr rn because if my thumb grazes an ad it opens the “going to the App Store” page and I can only click continue and there is no way to go back or exit and I have to close the app in order to get rid of it and now it happens when I click peoples blogs so I end up losing them anyway because I get stuck on an ad that literally does not go away and I have to close the app and come back in order to get rid of it. Fuck you tumblr. I fucking hate you.

I think somebody should destroy the internet and we should have to find community irl for a while before it’s restored so that all of you fucking idiots are forced to truly understand the gravity of what you lost when it disappeared, what was so good about it, and then what you gained from not having it around anymore, and the kind of damage the current internet was doing to your life.

The internet isn’t evil. But the state of it right now is abysmal and it’s ruining our lives.

You all need to understand exactly what makes the internet a miracle, and what makes it a vehicle for mass control and destruction.

A year has passed since a lot of bullshit and I think I’ve changed a lot. I have learned a lot from the span of a year. Here’s what I want to share:

Do not wait and pray

You have to love yourself first and foremost

All suffering can bring you wisdom

You can only process that wisdom if you give yourself the time and the space to hurt

Everyone is 12 even if they’re 38 so don’t feel too bad if people make you feel insane, everyone is stupid.

At the same time people are also smarter than you think. Chew on people’s insight. It’s useful. Sometimes it’s not, but it’s always worth opening your mind to it.

Addiction is a serious problem no matter how “light” or “unseriously” people treat the substance. Do not be ashamed of putting your foot down to be taken seriously by a professional if you’re being seen by one. I don’t care if it’s caffeine or if it’s fucking candy. If it’s messing with your life and causing you distress you deserve to be heard.

Blood is thicker than water, but it can be infected and diseased too. The blood in your veins can kill you.

Attachment≠relationships/love

Never sacrifice your identity for people who don’t support who you are, no matter your attachment.

You cannot love anyone before you love yourself.

Be compassionate to yourself as much as you are capable.

Sometimes you have to lay there and bleed before you cowboy up, but you have to get up. Soldier on, guys. Lick your wounds and get up.

Be aware of where and when and what causes you to be vulnerable to your mental illnesses. Be aware of your triggers. Be aware of situations where your judgement will be impaired by it. Reconvene with yourself after you’ve recovered to go over things. Ask for help from a third party unaffected by your illness if you must.

I have only met like 3 people who properly understand Anakin as a character. A lot of people get really close and don’t really hit the mark, some people are so far off they might as well be on Mars. But ngl this isn’t unique to him it has more to do with the fact that people don’t know how to chew on multifaceted characters who aren’t well organized and easy to swallow. Go watch the carebears or something they have little belly pictures that tell you exactly what their whole deal is lmao.
