Brett just closed his laptop and hopped off the bed, happy that Starr was coming over. He didn’t really know how he was going to tell her that he wasn’t gonna go to the prom because he was going back home that weekend. He hoped he could avoid the topic for a while. Brett slipped on sweatpants over his batman boxers and put on a black sweater over his mickey mouse shirt and sat on the living room couch. Brett waited for Starr to stop by, playing with his fingers as he waited.

Starr balled her black hair up in a bun and didn't bother to put on make up because she was way too lazy. She put on an over sized sweater and some jean shorts and flip flops. She walked to Brett's door and knocked at his door. When he opened the door she covered her face and said "I'm not decent, but hi."
