ciao! i’ve decided to turn this blog into some sort of studyblr to motivate me to finish my tbr books, study on my italian lessons, and just share tidbits of my life here.
so, today:
i took a leave from work
went to the bank to settle my accounts
bought a takeout for our lunch at home
read hamlet and took down notes
listened to the whole miss saigon album
i’ll be spending the rest of the day to do other work-related stuff and hopefully, continue reading at night.
04.01.20// first day in a new position! My term doesn’t start until next week but I’m starting a student editing position with a law journal today! I’m so excited to get started in a job that fits within my areas of interest and study!
I’m also finally getting my desk set up together! One step closer to loving my productive space!

i want to go home. i will always want to go home. even when i am at home i want to go home. but i’m not really thinking of a place, it’s more that feeling of everything finally being over, of seeing the light in the windows of your house on a cold night, of being safe, the relief of leaving a party you’re not enjoying, like when you felt sick at school and they sent you home, or when you got upset at a sleepover and they called your parents. i want my mam to come get me. i want to go home.

May 26th, 11:50 Quite a late start today, but it’s sunday and I definitely needed the extra sleep. Now I’m having some breakfast while I try to read on the influence of Japan on French art for my Contemporary Art exam that is coming up. Bonus: My cat staring into the void of existence.
the idea of a straight vampire is very funny to me. like imagine you’re immortal and you aren’t even capable of fully appreciating the good parts of it. all your vampire friends fully understand the Aesthetic and wear dark and flowing clothes and sip blood out of goblets and then there’s just like you wearing….i don’t know. a salmon polo shirt and tan shorts. whatever straight people wear.
