An OOC Note to our followers:

As probably everyone realizes, life can throw you curve balls, and sometimes it can be so overwhelming you feel like you can barely breathe. Lately, it's been hard to keep up much consistency here, because of work and everything else that comes with personal life. We don't want to just abandon Fuinn, nor are we ready to finish their story yet. However, with the busyness that comes with everything, my partner and I will be taking a long hiatus. Finn and Quinn will be traveling across the US for the summer, which should give us time to get our lives back on track, and another chapter to their story brewing. So for a while, you'll be seeing posts we'll have queued up, showing the route and places they'll be stopping together. We hope to return in the fall renewed and with much more to tell. Thank you so much for your support.

I hope that’s not necessarily in any sort of specific order? But I have to agree with that, and I cannot wait until we can make it happen. You’re sure you want to road trip it all summer long, babe? I’m so down for that.

No baby. I love you and filming with you much more than my job. Me either! Of course I do. As long as I get to be with you, I'll be happy. What better way to spend our summer than traveling together? Good, I was hoping you'd say that.

Look at us echoing each other. I guess we could just get on the open road and see where it takes us?

As much as I love my job and filming with Finn... an entire summer to ourselves sounds like perfection. I'm still keen on this traveling the states all summer idea, and may have even begun to pack my bags. It will definitely be a vacation to remember!

Now... to figure out where to begin.

Because it means I’m finally gonna be home. I’ve enjoyed every minute of working on this movie, but it doesn’t mean I haven’t missed Los Angeles or everybody there. By Sunday night I’ll be able to sleep in my own bed again. And I’ll be so happy that I can.

You're telling me! I'm so proud, and glad that you've had an amazing time, but I'm also happy you'll be here soon. That especially; I hope you expect to be attacked with cuddles. I can't wait to see you on the big screen, babe. But even more so, back in our bed.

Wish You Were Here || Fuinn

Quinn was here, this wasn’t a dream or some kind of naughty fantasy- not yet anyways- and Finn couldn’t be any happier to see her. He’d missed her so much, skype and phone calls weren’t quite enough when he was used to living with her now and sharing so much of his life with her. Taking her in his arms and drawing her in for a long, soft kiss, he pulled back and once she was safely inside the room commented on the ‘leggy blonde’ who’d come to see him. “She’s kind of the best, actually. And this really dopey brunette guy is so glad to have her here.”

Watching her reach into the bag she brought with her and pull out a t-shirt, it was one of hers. A smile came over his face as she laid it out on the end of the bed, and when she commented on it having been doused with perfume he breathed in deeply, catching the airy scent… unmistakably Quinn’s perfume. Smiling, he moved back towards her again and wrapped his arms back around her. “Thank you for that… it’s gonna help when I don’t have you right here with me a lot. And you’ve been protecting my shirt too, haven’t you?”

Allowing her to guide him over to sit next to her on the edge of the hotel bed, Finn turned towards her and wrapped an arm around her waist. “Well, what you see here is what you get. Fun means a lot of movies and television, and skyping with you of course. I’ve really been spending most of my time on set and just soaking all of it in. You know, watching them film the scenes I’m not in too. It’s been really eye opening, but I know enough to know that I love what I do.” Leaning in to kiss her on the forehead, “Almost as much as I love you.”

Witnessing Finn's face light up in her presence was one of the most beautiful and endearing things she'd ever seen. He was so genuinely happy that she was there, making the time spent apart completely worth it. And clearly she was just as happy too, otherwise she wouldn't have come to visit in the first place. "Well she really loves that brunette; though he's much more charming than dopey-- he really should give himself more credit." Quinn was glad she had remembered to grab one of her old t-shirts, especially as the large grin on his face only grew at her reveal. Setting it at the end of the bed, the blonde gave a little squeal of joy as again, she was swept up into strong arms.

"You're welcome... I hope it does. I even brought a small bottle of my perfume too, just in case you wanted to freshen it up. And of course I have been, guarding it with my life. I either sleep or wear it every night... the only thing is your scent has faded a little from washing it," she explained with a small pout. "But it's still there just enough." Relishing his warm embrace, Quinn still found herself hugging close to him as they got comfortable atop the hotel bed, her arm winding about Finn's neck as his encircled her waist. She was still so proud of him for making it this far, and began to eagerly ask about his stay hoping he was having a blast.

"Well, those do sound like fun times... but you haven't explored the area much beyond the set? We may have to do some sightseeing while I'm here... you know, at least once we get out of bed." Giggling as he leaned in to kiss her forehead and informed her that he did love his job - nearly as much as her - Quinn only squeezed him a bit tighter. "I'm so glad you do Finn, you're star material. I always looked up to you as the glee club's leader, and now you're my leading man, and destined to other leading roles too. You deserve all of this and more. I'm glad you found your passion." Gently closing hazel eyes, Quinn's other arm draped around his neck too as she drew Finn in for another kiss, this one much softer and languid than the last as she memorized the burning of his lips on hers, because once she got home she'd be missing it again. "I love you too Finn, so very much. I love my career too, but I hope you know you'll always come first."

Lips curling into a slight smirk, Quinn lowered a hand to the bed, letting fingertips trace over the designs of the comforter. "Why don't you... let me explore your bed tonight... or more familiar territory like you?" she husked, letting lips trace along his jawline teasingly. "And tomorrow we'll explore a bit of Phoenix too?"

Finn: Does it really? Yes. :) I've already got it, but thank you baby. I plan to keep giving you that too, everything that you want and deserve. I do... I'm not sure what I did to ever deserve you but I'm so grateful for it. I can't wait... in your arms is my happy place.

Finn: You figured right. ;) I may be holding onto your t-shirt right now by the way.

Quinn: Of course it does! And good. :) Well... you're welcome; I promise you won't ever lose it either. And thank you sweetheart... so long as I have you though, there's never anything else necessary. Just being you is why you deserve everything good in the world, Finn. Me either... it's mine too. My home. This house has nothing on them.

Quinn: I know you so well. ;) Really?! Awww, have you been sleeping with it? I'm wearing yours right now.

Finn: Well that works, because I always want you around too. It could never be annoying, it's kind of everything I ever wanted. Oh, that's not true but I love you for saying that. I know we will, not much longer at all! Thank you again, beautiful. We sure are!

Finn: That actually works out even better then. ;)

Quinn: That makes me happier than you know... yeah? Well then I want to make sure you get everything you you want, and deserve. And that means for us both, since I feel the same way. Well, I just mean being with you makes me so much better; whether you believe it or not. I love you too, so much, I'll be welcoming you with open arms! You're welcome handsome!

Quinn: I figured you would agree. ;)

Finn: So much. That doesn't make you clingy, it just means you've actually gotten used to me being around and I think that's a very sweet thing. I hate that thought, but I couldn't agree more. I don't feel whole either. Aw babe, thank you so much for always believing in me. When I get home, we're going to celebrate.

Finn: Once we actually leave the bedroom. ;)

Quinn: Of course I have... I always want you around now. I'm glad you think it's sweet though, and not annoying. I know, it sounds bad I just am much better with you here. Really? I'm sorry sweetie... we'll be together soon though. You're welcome Finn; I always have, and I always will. We are? I can't wait!
