I want to read the end of Covenant so so so bad! This fic became a huge part of my life this last year and its the best I've ever read (I think I'll be in my 80's and still reading it). I'll never be thankful enough! Also, I hope that you keep writing (especially sasusaku) 'cause girl you REALLY are gifted!!! No pressure, hopiing to see the next chapter soon <3

PS.: you write great smut too, be sure of that.

Haha thank you! I intend to finish White Elephant when I finish Covenant. Honestly, it's taking me so long because I'm pretty reluctant to be done with Covenant myself 😩 but it's close to it's end 🥲

I was reading some of my favorite parts again as I await another update and noticed that you've rewritten parts of the story. In my curiosity I went back and glanced over a chapter or two and most-notably I saw you changed it to "Asuma" instead of "Team 10." Are there any other "major" changes or are you just cleaning parts up? Because, I mean, I'll re-read the story in its entirety again if I must. Such a sacrifice 😉

Just cleaning up, nothing major has changed! It's a bit like I cleaned up part 1 years ago prior to finishing part 2 :) I went thru and cleaned up part 2 a few months ago. I find it much easier to do when I've had a big break from the story and can read it like a reader rather than the writer lol. I'll do the same to part 3 after a few months away from it.

Long story short, no. You won't find any 😱😱omg new stuff😱😱 changes lol. I changed it to Asuma cuz in my own tiding up, I realized a single name was probably more ambiguous than Team Ten if Madara is listening lol. I do focus on tiding up dialogue the most because my initial dialogues are always a bit more in line with my general writing rather than how people would actually talk!

I made a tumblr just so I could tell you how much I completely adore your Sasuke and Sakura war fic. I LOVE IT, and that’s an understatement. I discovered it last week and I’ve already read it twice. just wanted to double check you hadn’t abandoned it, as I know you’ve said you’re super busy! Just want to know if I need to not attach myself to having an ending haha. Hope you’re doing well.

Rereading your story after the revelations in later chapters adds so much more depth than was already there the first time! But it also had me wondering a few things: Will we ever find out more about the life Sasuke lived in Izanami or is that left as a mystery? Also, does the Owl Mask's identity get revealed or his he really just a nameless face?

Nope, no more about Izanami :) and Owl Mask is just an ANBU who sticks to the whole anon factor of being an ANBU. You can headcannon him as whoever you like! I've seen some pretty interesting theories from readers about who they think it is lol

Just reread Covenant for the third time (all the way through, not counting the times I've reread scenes.) and I pick up on new things every time! Your writing is so beautiful. Have you ever considered writing an original story? I only ask because I'm pretty sure I'd read anything written by you at this point; Sasusaku or not.

Hehe I'm glad you see different things on a reread, I was hoping that would be the case! And I'd love to write something original, but I don't have a job that provides me enough free time to do so unfortunately. Lately I can't even write a fanfic! Couldn't imagine trying to build a whole world from scratch on top of it haha. Much respect to the published authors who give us such great worlds to fanfic on top of ❤️

Hi starry, I love covenant, which led me to read some of your other works. But I saw your old note from your older fic that you hc sasuke as a womanizer.

I don’t wanna sound mean but I just wanted to ask if you still headcanon Sasuke’s character as a womanizer?

I absolutely hate that hc and it’s gotta be the most ooc thing for sasuke to do 😭

Just wanted to know bc I love your more recent ss fics where Sasuke is actually in character.

If it's the note I'm thinking of, on Evolution of Love, I said that when I wrote that fic in 2013, I did think it was a plausible headcannon, though I no longer think so lol. You gotta read the whole A/N! But, alas, yes--all the fics I wrote 10+ years ago, when in my teens, have themes and characterizations I would certainly not write anymore (plus the writing in them isn't that great to begin with lol). I keep them up cuz they're nostalgic for me, that's all!

There are rarely fics that do this to me, I have two in mind: 'Convenant' and 'something to save' by helena-thessa. I wait for your updates with so much impatience and I'm afraid that one day you will tell us that you don't want to continue 😭😭

Literally the best fan fic I've ever read!

It was nice to read something that didn't play it safe, you were offing more people than George R R Martin, I've never been so stressed for fictional characters in my life.. I loved it!

I'm so glad I discovered it in time for the latest chapter otherwise I would have had an aneurysm.

Sasuke acted as Itachi had done, i think. Harboring a terrible burden in secret, suffering vicariously through her *for* her. Bleeding to protect her without her knowledge, condemning himself for her future. thats as much a confession of love than anything. i wonder what Sasuke would make of the comparison.

i was hoping, if you were feeling indulgent, to ask if you were ever going to write from Sasukes perspective. Your characterization of him is too precious.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's unlikely I'll be writing another fic in Sasuke's perspective as far as Covenant goes. Sakura's perspective took me quite a long time as it was 😂 thank you for reading!
