I lay here feeling the blood pulse through my body and it feels mortal but superficially so. Everything I have is of everyone else yet the remains of the brain beckon me to believe I just wasn’t made for this. The passion for life in other people just seems to bleed thin through me as I never really yearn for much anymore except for a few twinkling stars of light sewn in the dark blanket of which I’m swaddled. So just as I sleep, I find myself rolling and rolling without casting off into the normalcy of dreams. What can become different?
