For once Dakota hadn’t been actively on the lookout for girls, rather he’d been more focused on relaxing in the water. There weren’t any big waves so he’d left his surfboard by the rest of his stuff.

After swimming for a while he got out of the ocean and started heading towards his things. It was as he was brushing his wet hair out of his eyes that he noticed someone relaxing on a beach towel with a magazine. He would have continued walking if it wasn’t for the fact that this person was a very attractive girl.

Not really thinking about his actions, he walked over to her, unintentionally blocking her light as he stood over her. She didn’t seem to appreciate that.

"Oh, sorry." He said in reply to the sharp words, not deterred in the slightest as he moved to a spot where he wouldn’t be casting a shadow over her.

"Are you here by yourself?" He asked, giving a roguish smile as he saw there was only one towel laid out onto the sand.

 At his apology, Debrah sat up, resting her elbow on her knee and her chin in her palm. Not saying anything but forgiving his intrusion because quite frankly she found the entire issue of her magazine rather boring.

"Are you here by yourself?"

"Unfortunately," Debrah said nonchalantly. "I don't have very many friends."

Debrah bit her lip as she carefully looked the guy in front of her over. Anyone with eyes could see that he was good-looking enough, she definitely wasn't blind but his good looks didn't give him an immediate ticket to her time. 

"What about you, sun god?" She mused, "You here with anyone?"

"I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that I will look old…"

I Can't Title This Oops || Dake

 The last time she'd been to the beach felt like forever ago and thus she decided to treat herself that afternoon and headed down to the shore. It was a particularly nice day, sunny but not blazing hot and there was a nice breeze coming in off the ocean.

 She set her stuff down in the sand, spread out a beach towel and laid out on it on her stomach, flipping through the latest issue of Rolling Stone and skimming through interviews and reviews. Then suddenly a shadow cast itself over Debrah's reading light and with the most venomous voice she could possibly muster she asked; "Do you mind?"
