just took the leap of faith and quit my corporate job. I can't work to live, it is too much of a death for my soul. My body (the earth) was blessed with the medicine of disability. I refuse to treat my medicine as poison. I will not force this beautiful sacred body to work. I am going to apply for disability benefits and try to start selling my art. If anyone has advice or resources on either, anything would help.

I'm going to build a life that is rooted in community, love, The Earth, just like my ancestors did in the Appalachians. They did it, their wisdom runs through my Blue Ridge Veins, and so shall I. I have taken the leap of faith. Into the Valley i descend. The Mountain I just climbed looks beautiful from here.
