I’m rewatching attack of the clones rn and just realized… The Geonosians designed the Death Star. I’m a huge fan of Rogue One, but now I feel there’s another gap that has to be connected. Yes, we know the enemy has been plotting the Death Star for a long time, but last I remember, Rogue One treated it as if it were something they made Jyn’s dad invent. Unless the clip I just saw is added by Disney and that’s why I don’t remember it in attack of the clones before.

I blame Lucas for the originals and prequels having mid acting. I feel he didn’t want them to express themselves well.

I’ve seen Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Natalie Portman, Christopher Lee, and Ewan McGregor in other roles and they have SO MUCH MORE EXPRESSION.

I love Star Wars, but I do blame George Lucas for limiting the actors.

I have to agree with this one, though they were all in the “beginning” of their careers so I don’t know

I don't think Hayden is a good actor. He didn't deserve the hate he got and I'm glad he's not dealing with it anymore, but he's still not a good actor and Anakin should have been played by someone else. I feel like the only reason most of the fandom defends his acting is because they're physically attracted to him.

Would any of you Star Wars Fans of Star Wars Visions would like to see the creative vision of Gen Urobuchi of Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime fame, create a story of force sensitive Star Wars world girls struggling to work together? It would be like this a light side jedi user magical girl, dark side sith user magical girl, neutral force user magical girl who is like Jolee Bindo from Knights of the old Republic, a vaapad purple force user magical girl similar to Mace Windu, and a morally grey jedi magical girl? That is the holy quintet idea of these five force user magical girls representing all diverse aspects of the force. A what if in a Star Wars Visions universe if the force is more like a Magical Girl Anime Genre but with Gen Urobuchi's deconstructive dark edgy gritty writing?

In in one of the middle shadow lord star wars episodes Darth Maul can use Count Dooku's makashi light saber fighting style on that Twi'lek jedi padawan. Would make a nice alternate story where Maul trained all his years in Makashi during the Galactic Empire era. It would have helped him beat Obi Wan on Tatooine and trained Luke Skywalker to become his sith apprentice.

I'm roughly halfway through both so it might flip but I'm enjoying The Book of Boba Fett way more than Andor.

In Star Wars Rebellion pc video game. If you defeat only Emperor Palpatine and not Darth Vader by sparing his life, Vader will see the light of his Jedi son Luke Skywalker's work in the Rebel Alliance and retires as a nature watchmen using his lightsaber to build a log cabin to live in peace for the rest of his life.

The good ending

Is it strange that I find the way droids are treated in show/movie canon disturbing?? Like there’s straight droid torture dungeons, L3’s very valid desire for rights is played off for laughs (we won’t get into the Everything Else with that right now), they desecrate IG-11’s body in Mando like 3 times??? All for sillies??? It makes me so eughhhu

Yeahhh it makes sense. But if you remember that they’re technically ai, it can get concerning that our ai could end up like that too

Dave Filoni is now canonizing the warrior aspect culture of the Hutt alien race in his Mandolorian and Grogu movie. Hutt Warriors were originally in the Star Wars Legends supplementary books that are copied onto Star Wars wiki websites. You see one Hutt Warrior at the arena he fights Din Djarin in the February trailer.

Since the first movie, thought legends, and still in Canon, we've been show and told that Droids are just as sapient as other beings. It's weird that there is still fans that insist otherwise. Idk, it annoys me.

The amount of older men projecting themselves onto Anakin Skywalker after getting offended by Dave Filoni's comment regarding the character. You do know Anakin Skywalker is George Lucas's deconstruction of his chosen one story right? Even Rey needed the force ghost powers of other Jedi lending the force to fight against Palpatine in Rise of Skywalker along with Kylo Ren's help both combat and medical assistance. The jedi force ghosts helping to defeat Emperor Palpatine was part of the Star Wars Legends canon where they dragged Palpatine to be imprisoned in the force forever. George Lucas dislikes the one character army tropes associated with overpowered fantasy hero characters. We even saw Obi Wan omnipresent with Luke Skywalker taking out the Death Star in Star Wars in a New Hope.

Kyle Katarn is problematic Star Wars character as he invokes 80s power fantasy invincible action hero that defeats everything easily in his way.

Tbh I’ve never heard of him, I should catch up with sw but I don’t think that’s what we use the word “problematic” for

Not sure if the blog is alive but: I loooved Outlaws, seriously, I love Kay and ND. But I have to say, Asara is treated sooo dirty by the narrative. I get that Kay is supposed to have a somewhat righteous anti-rebel bias, but it is so weird how he is treated as the scum of the earth despite not even being the one at fault when Kay decided to create a fuss at a terrible moment. I little push? Sure, but if anything, he's insanely patient with her while trying to be helpful. And considering how important he was to the story later on, the fact that the narrative refused to even try to emphasize with him is kind of weird.

The blog is pretty much alive, people just have nothing to confess apparently
