Danny shook his head, laughing. “Okay, alright, if I promise to try and believe you, will you not record those poor women?” He asked, and then raised an eyebrow. “Eh. Daycare. Police forces. Basically the same thing, depending on who you’re on the force with.” He said, wishing he were joking. “Goddamn, though. I don’t think I could live with going through anything remotely close to high school again. But seriously, whether or not it’s true, don’t record them. S’just plain cruel.” He smiled, rubbing her shoulder. “I appreciate you trying to boost up my ego, though.” He laughed a little, unable to help it, when she looked disappointed after he kissed her forehead, shrugging. “I’ve gotta keep my gentlemanly reputation up somehow.” He teased.
Anastasia:
She laughed in response and nodded, grinning up at him, "Yes, yes, I promise." And then sighed when he spoke again, "To be honest," she said with a shrug, "I don't think high school ever ends. For anyone. No matter where you work or where you go, it's all high school because people are petty and some just never learn to grow up. But I won't record them, but only because you asked me not to." She said with another smile. Anastasia rolled her eyes at him and sat down into the car as he spoke, shaking her head, "Teasing me is not gentlemanly, it's mean." She said with a pout, crossing her arms over her chest. She didn't really care how much she resembled his two year old daughter sitting in the back seat of the car.

Daniel:
Danny laughed. “Well, she is the best kid in the world, so I guess I can’t blame you.” He said, and then groaned a little, not sure whether to be flattered or embarrassed. “Don’t record them, that’s terrible.” He chuckled a little, and then let the corner of his mouth turn upwards. “It is, though. Cute. Kinda.” He said, and then shook his head. “You can tell them. I mean, if you want. They’re just your friends. When I said … keep things private, I meant, from family members, people we’re constantly around, that affect our lives, to avoid any drama, you know? I don’t think your co-workers will cause any pressure. No matter how much they apparently love me.” He teased, rolling his eyes fondly. He blushed when she spoke again, clearing his throat softly and fighting to keep a smirk off of his face. “Funny.” He teased, and smiled when she closed her eyes, reaching up to press his thumb over her lips, kissing her chastely on the forehead. “If I started to kiss you, I wouldn’t be able to stop. I’ll kiss you for real later.” He assured her, removing his thumb and stepping away so that she could get around him to the passenger seat.
Anastasia:
Stasia laughed at his response and nodded, and laughed again, "Well, if that' what it takes, I may have to." She said, and then shook her head at his next words. "You obviously don't work in a daycare. It's like highschool, all there is is drama. Besides, if I were to tell them, it would only be out of spite, or because I was annoyed, not because they're important people that I want to share happy and important news with. You know? It would be for all of the wrong reasons. And see there you go saying they 'apparently' love you. Like, you don't really believe me. You're practically begging me to record them and prove it." She said with a smile. The smiled faded though, when she felt his thumb, opening her eyes just in time for him to kiss her on the forehead. She couldn't help the feeling of disappointment, and frowned as he spoke. "You don't play fair." She whispered as he stepped aside, and walked to her side of the car and opened the door to get in.
