Flashback Tuesday!
It was quiet. Too quiet. But the sounds of a few companion Pokemon, there was none of Cillians teenagers. He decided that today was a good day to take advantage of the situation and invite Kin to a special dinner. He knew their anniversary was coming up, so maybe this would be special. He called from bed for his wife, not sure where she wandered off too. He woke up alone, making his morning start out crummy. Hopefully, things would turn around. (Static-kill)
Kin’s sylveon, Stripes, hopped up on the bed instead, curling up on her side. It was still warm, Kin hadn’t gone too far. “Oh there you are!” Kin walked in from the bathroom and picked up her pokemon, kissing her in between her ears. “What did you need, Cill?”
"You’re right." He grinned. "They’re pure children." He set one down for Stripes then ate a meatball he made.
Kin sat against him, relaxing in the quiet meadow. “So did you want to do anything while we’re here?”
"I don’t have much weed…" He said softly, looking in his pocket.
She rolled her eyes and flopped back on the blanked, and Stripes curled up on her stomach right away.
He pulled out a few buds he had, picking seeds out, "I need to roll it though."

Static smelled the poffins and hopped over, climbing up Kins chest trying to get his nose in them.
"I’ve never had a poffin before…" Cill thought aloud.
Kin laughed and handed him a smaller poffin, and set the basket down for Stripes to pick out one for herself. “I’ll make some with different berries when we get home so you can try some.”
Cillian grinned and nodded, popping a pokeblock into his mouth and tossing one other to Static. "We spoil them too much."

"I love meat…that sounded better in my head." He giggled, popping another one in his mouth with his fingers,
“You big dork.” Kin got the poffins out. “I made these for the pokemon, you can’t have any, Cill.”
"And what if I eat them?" He asked, sniffing the poffins.

Cillian laid out everything for them between each other.
"There, perfect." Kin picked out one of the potato pieces and nibbled it.
Cillian took a piece too smiling, “You did very good.” He tossed one at his pokemon, who caught it in his mouth. “Hehehe, Stats thinks so too.”
She leaned over and kissed his cheek again. Stripes wandered back up, a couple flowers stuck in her fur, to sniff at the food.
Cillian picked up a meatball with a fork he had packed and popped it in his mouth, humming at the warm core. "Mn! Wow! I did good!"

Static took a small bite then the whole poffin, including her hand.
"AH! No no!" Cillian cried, bopping the top of his snout lightly till he let go and started walking again as he ate.
Kin just giggled, working some feeling back into her fingers. He hadn’t bitten hard but the electric shock had been a little tingly.
Static hopped along, squeaking as he saw the exit. Cillian smiled as they embraced the light again, exposing the flower field again to the couple. “We’re here!”
"It’s even more beautiful than ever…" She held on to Cillian and looked out on the valley of colorful flowers. Kin only let go to let Stripes out, who mewed and immediately ran out in to the flowers.
Static hopped along in the flowers too, rolling around and popping up with petals stuck in his fur. He mewled and laid down to chomp on a tasty flower.
Cillian set their bag down and recovered a blanket for them to sit on, laying it out for them.

She had her bag over her shoulder and held his hand tightly. “I don’t like the first part…”
"The cave? I can fix that." He dug into the bag and tossed out Static. "Hey, bud? Mind lighting us the way?"
The pokemon cried out to him as he let out a small discharge, enough to light up the rocky path.
