༝ 𖤐 this is a post that is sort of a conglomeration of the most important pieces of alastor's portrayal for this blog with links to other supporting posts . while this is nearly everything , there may be updates in the future . at that point i will edit & then reblog to the necessary blog . as always , if there are any questions , concerns , etc. i always encourage y'all to message me so it can be cleared up !
𝑯𝑼𝑴𝑨𝑵 𝑳𝑰𝑭𝑬 𝑳𝑶𝑹𝑬 + 𝑮𝑬𝑵𝑬𝑹𝑨𝑳 𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲𝑺𝑻𝑶𝑹𝒀 𝑳𝑶𝑹𝑬 .
𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒏 𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒍𝒐𝒈 .
༝ 𖤐 alastor agreed to join vox around 70 years ago , allowing his trust in the other to outweigh what paranoia that comes from tying himself to another being , accepting his offer to work together alongside one another ( and subsequently velvette & valentino , though i think it is important to note that whatever trust he does have in his union with the vees was strictly through vox intially & eventually grew to the others after they've proven useful to the group overall ) . alastor remains fairly elusive to the inhabitants of hell , only truly showing himself when he needs / wants to , his broadcast his main show of self & power .
༝ 𖤐 his connection and affiliation with the vees is something heavily speculated on as there is very little information out there officially about his involvement with them . it is clear that , at the least , he is on neutral terms with them , co - existing within the same area ( as the area of his radio tower is not known publicly ) while not participating in any turf related tensions that other overlords tend to partake in .
༝ 𖤐 his radio broadcasts still continue , as does his skepticism of the modernization of technology , something that is a source of conflict between him and his counterparts . within his radio tower he still uses all his same older technology , refusing to allow any upgrades or changes to his equipment to be made .
༝ 𖤐 the only change to his broadcast is their expansion into exhibitions , held ill frequently , but a gallery of what remains of some of his more memorable guests on his broadcast , because while their souls remain stored within the radio demon , there is art to be made from what was once another's failure . a show to be made of those who stood against the radio demon and lost , especially other overlords .
༝ 𖤐 his main place of residence is technically vee tower , though due to his use of shadows it is unlikely many have seen him come and go . he technically has three floors beneath ground level , two of which are open to those with an invitation , the other not . the occasional guests to the third floor tend to be broadcast guests , or maybe one of the other vees if they deem it necessary .
༝ 𖤐 his overall appearance remains in the same color palette , and as he does not deem it necessary to implement blue into his wardrobe the ' v ' pin often kept on his person at least within the tower a white color instead of blue . the style of his clothes tend to change , as he often is " gifted " clothes by velvette to wear in the pursuit of keeping up appearances , especially at his exhibitions , as they are galleries publicly sought after . his hair is also a bit shorter and has more of it's natural curl again , another thing that velvette has a hand in helping him achieve .
𝑽𝑬𝑬 𝑻𝑶𝑾𝑬𝑹 . 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑮𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑬𝑹𝒀 .
𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒏 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 .
༝ 𖤐 main verses : alastor , eventually finding himself unsatisfied with his position within the vees , sought out a deal with the queen of hell ( subject to change , see last bullet point ) which subsequently led to him going missing for a decade . the deal was meant for his own benefit , a play to obtain more power in able to retaliate against the other three vees once he did leave , and to " put them in their place " should they try to challange him .
༝ 𖤐 au 01 verse : alastor sought out the deal as a means to secure more power for the vees , believing that he would be able to do it as he has time & time again . however , as it did in his main verse , did not go as planned & he was gone for a decade , only reappearing at the hotel as a stipulation of the deal he now finds himself in . even upon his reappearance he is still ( secretly , of course ) loyal to the vees & would eventually come into contact with them throughout the events of his time in the hotel despite the facade he carries of not being fond of them .
༝ 𖤐 alastor was gone closer to a decade rather than seven years pre ! canon . the first few years there were rumors he was still lurking about , but his absence is known well by anyone within vee tower , his flowers being for the most part abandoned .
༝ 𖤐 all his involvement with the hotel has to do with the deal he is under , there is no real connection he feels to the hotel , nor it's inhabitants . in fact , post! being injured in the finale fight with adam , if anything , his attitude towards the hotel & the people within are soured more , the mask he was wearing prior slipping due to the anger felt towards his deal .
༝ 𖤐 after being nearly killed by adam and retreating alastor didn't show back up in the hotel until weeks later , the hotel having already been rebuilt and getting back to running ( so he wasn't around for the finale part of episode eight ) . upon his return he attempts to keep his normal composure but finds it extremely difficult due to the constant pain he is in .
༝ 𖤐 alastor is still very injured going into season two , despite his attempt to bleed out any remaining holy energy that is left within his body .
༝ 𖤐 any plots revolving around his re - entry into vee tower will have to be plotted out mainly because alastor would not just walk back into the entertainment district to gain the vee's attention considering how injured he really is , if he is seeking their attention he'll get inside the tower via his former floors .
༝ 𖤐 any plots revolving around his deal with vox will also have to be plotted more than likely , especially since i do not follow the canon rosie deal so the original reason for the deal doesn't exist on this blog . i also feel like it could change depending on the dynamic he has with the vox i'm writing with and what we previously have plotted .
༝ 𖤐 all that being said , i do still really like the idea of him ending back up in vee tower , especially within his still loyal to the vees au because he would want to help them however he could without enacting any blowback that could come from his deal .
༝ 𖤐 while i am open to plotting around who alastor's deal is with , it will never be portrayed here how it was portrayed in the show . perhaps with enough plotting i would be willing to go down the route with his deal still being with rosie , but again , it will not be one for one with canon . often i simply default to alastor's deal either being with roo or lilith .
༝ 𖤐 the power he built in hell was of his own , the deal he made was only either in accordance to leaving the vees ( his main verse ) or to gain more power for the vees ( his au 01 verse ) .
