The Bewick Swan 🦢 is day 5 of the #penandinkchallengeart #penandinkchallenge hosted this week by myself and @penandinkchallenge Did you know that the Bewick Swan is the smallest of all the different swans that visit's us here in the UK after breeding in the Arctic Tundra in Siberia. They come in October spends the winter here in warmer climate before returning in March to breed in late may early June. They also mate for life and live up to 8 years. There are many different species of swans that come to the UK , you can tell the difference between them not only in size but the colours and shape of their bills, the Bewick has a oval yellow shape. All swans have been protected against hunting in the countries they inhabit...
