Isola di Hvar - La città di Lesina by Roberto Moretti Via Flickr: L'isola di Lèsina (in croato Hvar) è la più lunga fra le isole della Dalmazia, con un'area di 299,66 km2, uno sviluppo costiero di 269,2 km e un'altitudine massima di 628 m. Grazie al suo clima mite, alla sua natura intatta e ai suoi monumenti storici è stata presto scoperta dai turisti di tutto il mondo. Centri principali sono Lèsina (Hvar), Gelsa (Jelsa), Cittavecchia (Stari Grad), Verbosca (Vrboska) e San Giorgio (Sućuraj).
