[Mystic Messenger] Notice Regarding Price Increase for Mystic Messenger

Hello, this is Cheritz.

We sincerely appreciate your love and support for Mystic Messenger.

This year, Mystic Messenger celebrates its 10th anniversary. Mystic Messenger would not be what it is today without your unwavering support over the past 10 years.

Since Mystic Messenger launched on July 9, 2016, we have never once raised the price of Hourglasses or other in-game items. We kept our original launch price for 10 years so that as many coordinators as possible could enjoy Mystic Messenger without financial burden.

However, as prices and operating costs have steadily risen over the past 10 years, we've reached a point where maintaining the original price no longer allows for stable operation.

To continue operating Mystic Messenger sustainably and remain by your side for years to come, we will be raising the price of Hourglasses and other paid items by an average of 30% or more, effective July 24, 2026. In addition, some Hourglass costs for Deep Story, Another Story, DLC, Seasonal, and more will also increase.

This was not an easy decision, but it is one we made so that we can continue to grow alongside you. We kindly ask for your understanding.

We will continue to do our best to give back to you with an even better game experience.

*If there's any content you've been curious about, Deep Story, Another Story, DLC, and more, we recommend trying it before the new pricing takes effect.

(JP) Story of Seasons 30th Anniversary "Memory Contest" Announced

While we're still waiting to see the results of the big popularity poll, Marvelous has announced another part of their anniversary celebration: A "Memory Contest," featuring Illustration, Photo, and Video categories for both Story of Seasons and Rune Factory, with three winners in each category. The Story of Seasons winners will each receive a "Golden Watering Can" trophy, and Rune Factory winners will receive a "Golden Turnip." Artwork is submitted via Google Form or Twitter post. Obviously, AI is prohibited.

The deadline is June 30, 2026 (Tue) at 23:59, JST. The contest is only open to residents of Japan. We hope that other international branches of Marvelous will open their own contests soon. For now, we can at least look forward to seeing all kinds of fun new artworks from the JP side of the fanbase soon!
