Hey guys, I’ve been really spotty with my activity over here for the past several months because life got incredibly hectic outside of the internet and when I did have time I honestly haven’t felt like writing much. But life should be settling down a bit and I want to start RPing again. That said, I feel like I need a bit of a fresh start from a blog perspective and from a Steve perspective. 

My new blog will be over here (x) and it has updated rules and verses which I’ll be adding to over the next couple of days. I wanted to thank everyone that’s followed this blog, and everyone that’s taken the time to write with me because you’re all lovely people and I hope to write with you again soon.

I got invited to a Glee rp on Facebook by a mutual on my personal and I never looked back?  platforms you’ve used: Facebook, Chatrooms, Forums, Tumblr, Kik, Skype worst experience: *ahem* Parkour. swanlessendings  best experience: Parkour??? J/k j/k. Probably that period of time where my main partner and I both shipped the same thing and we we equally invested in the 1x1 we were doing at the time. These days I generally feel like I'm far more invested than the people I write with, but I also try to remember that I'm typically pretty down on myself so who knows. My perceptions tend to be weird.

Honestly she felt like she looked like hell without her make-up on right now. And maybe he was just saying that to be nice, maybe he really did mean it but either way she bowed her head slightly and smiled at the comment as she took the carton and spoon from him.

“I’ll have to check steverogersdaily.com later then.” She tittered softly, not actually knowing if such a site existed. Given it was the internet it was the internet it was highly likely. “That hoodie would be lovely…” She nudged his knee back.

Steve winces slightly, "Please don't check. Just...don't." He pauses wrinkling his nose slightly at the thought, "And don't remind Natasha that that website exists please. Seriously please." He stands then, "The last time she had far too much fun. Really."

He reaches down to rest a hesitant hand on Claire's shoulder, an attempt to be comforting for a few moments. "I'll go get that hoodie. You good with the ice cream for now? Or...?" He waits a few moments, smiling down at her.

"No, you sure as hell weren’t," James teases with a smile. A second later, he nods, gives over to Steve’s statements. "I’m with you there. Not like people weren’t kissing and sleeping out of wedlock in our day. Maybe it can make things less complicated, though." This is something he’s considered, but never had the courage to actually talk about, with anyone. Hopefully, considering the content of their conversation, Steve won’t judge him for it.

"You know? You could just ask somebody if they wanted to get into that, whether they wanted to be serious or not. None of the rules and the customs — not that I wouldn’t take a date dancing or to dinner or nothing, just…be frank with them, you know? Say ‘hey, after we go out tonight, do you want to go back to my place’?" Actually saying it makes something sour turn in James’ stomach, though, and he scrunches his face briefly at the idea, shakes his head. He’s not so certain he could do that, now that he’s heard it, but it’s an idea still, anyhow.

"You get the idea."

Steve shrugs his shoulders, "Well, yeah. But people have always done those things. There's just...fewer repercussions now. I like that." He's quiet as he listens to his friend speak, and nods slightly. "It would be more honest I think. Having things out in the open would make it easier to understand each other. That kind of honestly sounds Intimidating though." His head tilts slightly as he looks past Bucky and he frowns slightly, "But I really wouldn't know."

He clears his throat, ducking his head and carefully not meeting Bucky's gaze, "I'm not...I'm not interested in all that. Not like other people are." He goes quiet for a few long moments, "I mean I've obviously been attracted to people before, and I do care for people but I'm not...." He runs a nervous hand through his hair, trying to find words because if he doesn't trust Bucky enough to talk about this then who?

"I'm not attracted to people the same way. I'm not interested in sex most of the time. In fact that's really really rare for me." He goes quiet for a few moments, because there it is. Out loud. Half of him wants to snatch it back and pretend it's a joke, but he presses on. "It just means that this modern dating is even more awkward for me, personally. More than it was before. Which I didn't think was possible." 

His gaze finally lifts to meet Bucky's, frown deepening, "Is that strange?" Its a stupid question, of everything about him that might be considered strange that isn't the worst, but he can't help but ask.

"What?  Really?  Your answer is ‘what’?" Toni rolls her eyes, gives a sardonic round of applause. It’s almost enough to cover the heated near-shame coloring her cheeks.  Those three words weren’t supposed to come out: not here, not now, not like this.  Preferably, not ever.

Her chin lifts defiantly, eyes daring him to say something, throw this slip back in her face like any other instance of recklessness.

"Well?  What do you mean, Rogers?”

She only calls him Rogers when he’s in trouble

Steve resists the urge to roll his eyes, "No, that isn't my answer it's a reaction." His eyebrow arches at her slightly, "I wasn't exactly prepared here Toni, I was expecting more complaining about the "hovering" that bothers you so much not...that." 

He lets out a soft breath as he gazes at her for a few long moments,  "Toni, c'mon." He holds out a hand, palm up in a silent entreaty for understanding because he hates the set of her chin. He's  "If you don't know I love you then I don't know what to tell you, but you kinda took me off guard here."

Bucky stifles a yawn by pressing his face to Steve’s hoodie. When he’s finished, he looks up to Steve, sleep consuming his thoughts. He wants to say everything he can about how Steve doesn’t have to worry about that anymore, but he’s losing coherency, so Bucky simply leans up and kisses Steve. It’s slow and chaste, no intent to continue further than that.

He pulls away after a few moments. “This year’ll be different, Stevie.” Steve’s name is drawn out by another yawn. Bucky’s just so tired, which is to be expected honestly. It was a rough couple of months on the assignment, so naturally his body is going to be exhausted. He slides back down, stretching his body out on the couch, his head resting on the soft fabric covering Steve’s stomach. Bucky looks at the TV, trying to pay attention to whatever is coming on next, but he falls asleep shortly after.

When he wakes up, it’s to an empty couch. Bucky gets up, slowly, and looks around from the couch. Steve isn’t in eyesight. Maybe he moved to the bedroom? Bucky gets up and goes to check. No Steve to be found in there either. “Steve?” Bucky calls his name out, but there’s no response. Then he hears the door to Steve’s floor open. “Steve?” He asks once again as he heads back to the main room.

Steve only leaves Bucky on the couch because of the startling realization that the're completely out of any easy to make food. He feels vaguely guilty about it as he brushes Buky's hair back, but he hasn't felt like grocery shopping just for himself. It seems unfair now though, because Bucky having to cook on his first day back just isn't okay with Steve. But he also doesn't feel like making Bucky hotdogs would be really fair either. So he reluctantly slips away from the couch and changes into actual clothing before leaving the apartment to brave the cold.

He's back fairly quickly, or he likes to think he is, but the city is busy this time of year so the grocery store is maddeningly stressful and while take out is fast in New York it isn't instantaneous. He slips off his shoes as he closes the door behind himself. He glances up as he hears his name again, brow furrowing as he sees Bucky. "Hey, I thought you'd still be asleep." He holds up the Indian take out bag with a small grin, "I figured you deserved something a bit better than hotdogs or peanut butter sandwiches after a month on the job."
