01. confinement.
[Â Beep. Beep. Beep.
The demonâs eyes fluttered open, but not to the sound of an alarm clock.
All he saw was whiteâa blinding white that surrounded him and drowned him, contrasting all too much with his raven locks and blue eyes. Startled, he sits up and assesses his surroundings as quickly as possible, first noting that there was only one door, only one exit. Another thing he notices is a note taped to the table beside him⌠]
Infected?
[ That couldnât be. Rin simply didnât get sick. He never did. Not even from crazy demon diseases. His head swirled but his eyes remained trapped on that one wordâand suddenly, too suddenly, he felt as though he were ill. Moreso even when his eyes peeled themselves off the world and scanned the bottom of the paperâno escape. âThere is no escape and there should not be any reason for you to try.âÂ
Looks like he was ignoring that advice with how quickly he bolted out of the room and into the hallway, regardless of how little or how many people there were. ]
"Woah!"
Walking down a hall, the blonde barely started her way before she luckily stooped short. A teen rushed into the hallway, obviously panicked about his situation in the hospital. He was new. Sherry hated to see new patients in the hospital-- it just meant another prisoner for the doctors and nurses to test on.
"Calm down-- panicking will only make it worse." she said, a familiar concerned expression coming upon the agent's face. All too many times she's seen panicked people run around completely lost, only to hit some kind of trap that ended up getting them killed. Not like death was any kind of escape in the hospital anyway. Sherry decided to get straight to the point.
"Look, I know you're really confused and scared, but please calm down! You could get hurt."
