Well.... A dare is a dare. [Smooches @ kinfofthedevil!]
A dare, really more like some kind of binding magical spell! Sherry did believe nor disbelieve in magic, but the feeling of being compelled to fulfill them was just downright unnatural. Sherry let out an exasperated sigh, she not only had to kiss Jake, but then attempt to explain herself in a British accent. Talk about embarrassing.
Sherry was not easily flustered either. It was hard to anger her, as well as scare or annoy her, but when it came to love and hugs and kisses of the sort, the agent was a confused, blubbering mess. It wasn't easy to gain experience in that field when you're whole life consisted of culture tubes of your blood being tested and military-like training.
Seeing the mercenary sent the blonde's heart pounding. Sherry was never more nervous about something in her life, but the dare kept her from forgetting the whole thing.
Taking a step in front of Jake, the blonde shyly looked up at Jake through her lashes. She could even feel her face heating up. Damn it, damn it, damn it! Why was she acting like a little school girl?! It was just a stupid little kiss right? Right. If the agent could hold her own against a horde of J'avo, she could deal with a kiss.
Before the other could question just why the hell she was acting so strange, Sherry brought her hands to the side of Jake's face and gently brought it down to hers. She hesitated for only a moment, actually fearing some kind of rejection, before lightly placing her lips on his and lingering for a split second.
Quickly she let go and took a step back, cheeks so red she could feel the heat reaching her ears. The blonde opened her mouth to explain, but only a squeak came out. Oh god!
