So this is a Steam Powered Giraffe bracket consisting of all of their album songs as well as some of their other content.
Propaganda can be sent in via the ask box. Please if you are submitting propaganda for multiple songs put them in separate asks. Propaganda can be submitted at any time.
The polls will be scheduled for 7 am GMT. However, anything else will be posted to at random times because why not. The polls will run for a week before we move on to the next round.

Just a little note about the future of this blog under the cut
Hi all @nix-does-stuff (op) here
I don't know how many of you will read this but I wanted to put it out there. This blog will stay up but it will be inactive. I have plans for another spg blog in future but i won't be doing that right now as i have a lot going on.
Doing this blog was fun. While i may not have been the most reliable about posting the polls when I was meant to, I had a lot of fun doing this for you all and I hope you had lots of fun voting and rooting for your faves to win.

Eat Your Heart:
The profile picture for this tournament is taken from the music video and I love the song I harass my irl friends to listen to it whenever I can - from The poll runner itself
The beginning of the song is perfect. It drags you in flawlessly. It's a little bit quiet at first so as to not overwhelm you, only to surprise you with some of the most beautiful harmonies ever heard. Who can click off of those mega-beautiful harmonies?
Which the harmonies of this song are so perfect. Which is great for a band that takes pride in their harmonies.
David singing both the highest notes and the lowest notes is phenomenal.
Bryan's voice has been so good for their recent songs. It really pulls everything together to sound so smooth. His deep and buttery voice keeps the vocals from sounding too harsh despite how eventful this song is.
The chiptune towards the end is a super nice surprise. You'd never expect it from a band that focuses on harmonies yet it works so well with the song.
The dinosaur sings at the beginning of the music video.
Alice in Wonderland vibes with the art, the music video, and the song.
Rabbit gets to be intimidating while the others are all goofy and fun. Like a mob boss and her two followers.
The harmonies on "Heart your heart your beautiful heart" combined with Rabbit's "Such lovely tears"
Spine and Zer0 harmonizing on the word "Yum"
Rabbit singing "Bless your soul" at the endGod-tier song <3 - from @brooklynisher
I’m back again to continue to fight for Eat Your Heart! This propaganda is based on my thoughts on 1896, I LOVE how much the band has changed and grown. The whole album is a display of self-expression, which I love to see, especially for Zer0’s introductory album. Everyone here is themselves! I love to think of SPG as the band where everyone can be themselves, because it’s true! “Despite everything, it’s still you” type beat. That’s so cool!
I made a huge lyric analysis on Genius some time ago about Eat Your Heart. It’s a very fascinating being a song sang FROM THE PERSPECTIVE of mental illness personified. It’s personal, yet I know it’s relatable to many who may find themselves in situations where their mental illness tries to beat them down, especially those who deal with BPD (Since Bunny has BPD and likely based a good chunk of the lyrics on that). We love songs written about neurodivergence, by neurodivergent people, for neurodivergent people!
And in general, I think it’d be cool if SPG’s newer stuff could get the spotlight (Justice for the SWH2 album wahhh). As much as I love the older stuff, I feel like the newer stuff is AMAZING but super under-appreciated. SPG as a band changes a lot and they’ve never stopped changing and I love them for it, so I always want to appreciate what’s new! Always want to give the new stuff a chance. Here’s to Rabbit’s pink apron. - from @brooklynisher

Turn Back the Clock:
one of the most emotional songs of spg i can think of. i don't even listen to it that much because it never fails to make me cry. the fragility of human life compared to immortality of the mechanical really got you thinking. especially with how much grief it contains within. - from @ramenwithbroccoli
So first off hope you had a happy holidays. Second, swear I had a post in November explaining a quick gap for me to get things sorted for ending high school and starting uni, but apparently, it didn't go up for whatever reason (I forgot to hit post).
