I have this headcannon for The Song of Achilles. I don't know if it contradicts anything(I think it doesn't), but here it is.
After the Trojan War ends, the news of Achilles' death will spread. And, easier or harder, they will reach Mount Pelion. And, every night, Chiron would stay and look at the statue of the great hero made by the one he loved most, being sad, but knowing he couldn't have done anything to stop their deaths.

- In the glade Minho and Newt used to make fun of gally but all in good spirit until gally dragged Minho in the circle just to have his ass whooped
- Thomas and Minho like collecting shells and showing newt but one time they found one that reminded them of chuck, cried, showed newt, and made him cry too
- In the safe haven, when Thomas and Newt started flatting together people would constantly bring up the roommates trope and they wouldn’t get it all the way up until they started dating
- The ivy trio does movie night on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday
- Thomas tried the therapy thing where you write notes to people you dislike and set them on fire but everyone got the wrong idea and thought it was a bonfire. That’s how many letters he wrote.
- They started a band they called “Gladiators” but it’s pronounced “Glade-iators” and Minho thinks he’s a genius every time he corrects someone on it
- The band featured fry on the drums and Gally on the guitar, Minho sings, newt plays the bass, and Thomas knows how to fucking play the keyboard.
- Newt and Minho speak in a stupid made up language to confuse Thomas but Thomas learnt the “words” and confused them right back.
- Thomas will call newt stuff like: Babe, baby, dude, and bro
- Newt calls Thomas stuff like: Darling, love, dear, and sweet
- Minho and Brenda start dating and cringe at the sound of both (they call each other honey.)
- In the glade, when it was just newt and Minho up during bonfire nights they’d stargaze for about half an hour before cringing and leaving to sleep with an awkward hug
- Thomas and Minho shadow box each other to see who has to help set up bonfires and Thomas loses every time
- When the three of them had to put names on the tribute rock they all cried at the same intensity while carving Chucks name out
- Newt is a wet the brush and the paste kinda guy, Thomas does his dry, and Minho does his with just a wet brush
- Newt: socks and sandals. Thomas: sandals, no socks. Minho: just socks cause he can’t be fucked with sandals cause he fell while running once.
- Newt likes Caramelo Thomas like almond chocolate and Minho adores white chocolate
- When newt is sad but doesn’t want to do his sobbing to Thomas he’ll cry to Minho for hours as Thomas listens from the other room wondering if he’s still good enough for newt
- Thomas and Minho like eating dinner together when newt decides to eat dinner with his sister
- The first time Thomas and newt made out they were both shit faced so the only person who actually remembers it happening is Minho
- Sometimes when Minho thinks nothing is real newt is experiencing the worst sleep paralysis and Thomas is thinking about what he could’ve done to help everyone. Sometimes it all lines up and they can’t help each other.
- Newt has a fear of throwing up
- Minho hates mint more than life but will always take gum if offered it
- Newt likes his coffee with more milk than coffee and that only IF he’s drinking the stuff otherwise its tea, Thomas drinks his black and everyone hates it, and Minho is a cappuccino kinda guy
Well, first off, Minho is the only one of these losers to even have a driver's license.
Despite this, Thomas will make up for it by... Backseat driving the hell out of Minho. "Turn right! Turn right! Oh wait, no, Apple Maps says go forward for another 8 miles. Sorry." "Minho, the speed limit is 86mph, you're going 87!!" "Minho-"
Minho ends up turning his hearing aid off for most of the drive. It's mostly for show, though. He can still hear through his right ear (which is, unfortunately, the one Thomas is shouting in). But it does get Thomas to shut up about his driving for a few minutes.
Until there's a gas station, anyway. Then Thomas is immediately forcing Minho to pull over because this man? This man is so big on snacks. He's got 'em all organized by vibes and behaviors. Chocolate-y snacks for when he's feeling tired, beef jerky for when he just wants something to munch on, gummies for when he's chatting with Newt and Minho, crackers for when he's staring out the window and listening to music...
Speaking of music,
Don't. Touch. Newt's radio. Doesn't matter if it's Minho's car. It's Newt's playlist. He's going to decide the music. It's one of the few things Minho's smart enough to not argue with him on.
A lot of people think Thomas would be the one chatting away, but it's actually Newt. Newt's the one pulling Minho out of that autopilot Driver Brain Numbness to chat, Newt's the one convincing Thomas to take his headphones off (he picked a playlist just for this road trip and Thomas wants to listen to his own music? rude).
The man needs his closeness. His love language is quality time and you can't change my mind. He revels in the comfortable silence as the three do their own things together, and he basks in the amiable chatter between his boyfriends (except for when Minho starts dunking on cats during their classic Cats VS Dogs convo, but every fantasy has a few holes).
Speaking of love languages, Minho's is acts of kindness (again, you can't change my mind). And it shows when he overpacks so much.
Oh, what if Thomas gets cold? What if Newt's ankle starts acting up? Compression helps with ankle pains, right? He should bring sixty blankets for a 3-day trip, right? He brings back-up toothbrushes (because Newt forgets his at motels sometimes), brings weighted blankets (Thomas hates the motel ones; they're so light), brings ten gallons of moisturizer (Newt hates dry skin), brings a taser (a bit much, but safety is good), brings a waffle machine (a little weird, but Thomas is adamant that waffles are just pancakes but better), brings a saxophone (okay, that one might just be odd), brings a horse saddle (Minho stop-)
Newt makes everyone write a list of all the stuff they're bringing so they don't forget their things when they're coming home (Minho's list is ten miles long). The first thing Newt writes on his own list is spare hearing aid batteries. It's the one thing Minho never bothers to worry about when he's (over)packing. He knows Newt will bring it.
Thomas sits backseat. Sometimes, if the trunk can't fit all their things, they'll have to put some stuff in the backseat, and Thomas ends up a little squashed. But that's okay. Newt tries to offer him passenger seat, but Thomas turns it down each time. He likes the backseat, it's where he can kiss the back of his boyfriends' necks.
(He's tried kissing Newt from the passenger's seat. It doesn't work as well. Also he once kicked Minho in the face trying to do so.)

Newt is exceptionally good at guessing when Minho and Thomas are trying to hide their pain
and he has no issues with dragging them to bed
Minho probably does stupid shit like "birthday noogies" or whatever, which has inspired a 2v1 of Newt and Thomas VS Minho on April Fools

Thomas gets dragged into things like astrology and fortune telling by Newt
Every time Minho tries to tell Thomas how stupid astrology is, Newt just scoffs and goes, "Typical Pisces behavior" and drags Thomas away
Minho is not a Pisces. Minho is a Libra.
Thomas calls him an "asymptomatic Libra" and Newt is very quick to jump on that train. Minho hates the both of them so, so much.
Thomas is a Virgo. Newt is a Taurus.
Minho can be turned into putty with enough kisses and hugs and gentle touches. It takes Thomas hours of work, but it's so worth it.
On the weekend, Newt often comes home to a pliant Minho with his face buried in Thomas' chest. Thomas just giggles.
Thomas loves long walks.
Sometimes the three go out together: Thomas strolling down the sidewalk at a leisurely pace; Newt several paces behind, stopping every few seconds to snap a photo of something cool with his fancy camera; Minho several blocks ahead, sprinting like his life depends on it, doubling back whenever he gets too far away.
Thomas and Minho are on piggyback duty if Newt's ankle ever acts up in the middle of a walk
Thomas once fell down trying to pick Newt up, so piggyback duty has mostly been delegated to Minho
Speaking of which, two of the rooms in the house (one of them is Newt's bedroom) are padded with extra insulation to keep it nice and warm during the winter because the cold messes with Newt's ankle
Minho carries heating packs in his pockets at all times and rubs them against Newt's ankle whenever the pain gets unbearable in public
Sometimes it helps, mostly it doesn't. Newt appreciates the effort.
Thomas tries to fight doctors who are reluctant to prescribe medication and/or painkillers.
Thomas studied law and is not afraid to use his Master's.
Newt wanted to get a bird, Minho wanted a dog, and Thomas wanted a cat. They compromised and bought fish.
Newt has names for each individual fish, Minho named all of them Guppy, and Thomas' names for the fish change with each conversation.
Newt prefers baggy clothes and often just steals Minho's stuff because Minho is SO FUCKING JACKED- ...because Minho's shoulder span is so much wider than Newt's
the only issue is that Newt is about three inches taller than Minho, so Minho's "big shirts" are like baggy crop tops
Thomas, who is more Newt’s height, starts buying clothes that he knows Newt will like and smirks whenever it disappears.
When the three go shopping together, Newt often shoves clothes that he wants to wear into Minho and Thomas' carts.
Thomas and Minho like to make bets with each other like "He'll take this one within a week."
I only reblog this because I want to know something. Does anyone else have the feeling that they have made a friend like this, but are not sure if the other person actually likes them enough(I'm insecure af)
