His lips are like heaven and hell all in one and you can’t help but let them devour the sweet, sweet spot below your pulse. It beats heavy and loud in your ears, and the only sound that seems able to lure you out of this hypnotic daze is the honeyed words he speaks to you in a hushed tone.

Well.Well. Well. No more fighting Pax the Theft of Destiny anymore. *sigh* officially found 2 new British Daddies. There goes focusing on school work this semester or maintaining something resembling a social life.
Ever since he laid eyes on you, Stefan was obsessed.
He met you in school, a volunteer for the special classes that you went to, and was already very interested in you. He tried walking up to you, starting up a conversation, but you just stared directly at him. Stefan blushed, wondered if something was wrong and his heart sank to his stomach when you wrote “deaf.” on your phone notes.
But Stefan did not give up.
When he wasn't working on his game, he was learning an entire new language just for you. It was hard for him and it took time but eventually when you two left school, you were able to easily communicate. The consideration and time he took was cute and admirable to you so you two quickly became best friends. Stefan nearly followed you everywhere, not even to help or protect you, but to just be around you. He loved your presence, your energy, and even though you couldn’t hear the many, many times he told you he loved you, he would never want to be away from you.
The first time was helping him with a paper for his game. It only had to be a page, explaining where the game was gonna go and how it’d play out, but he was completely stuck-until you came over.
You wrote with grace, fingers typing so smoothly on his computer keyboard, nodding at every sentence you wrote. You were in your own vibe and he could only watch you helplessly. You were so beautiful, always there to help him out when he was in a slump and he sighed gently as he couldn’t help but murmur, “I love you.”
Your head turned while he was talking and, seeing his lips move, you raised an eyebrow and signed, “What’d you say?”
Stefan blushed, signing back, “Nothing, sweetie.”
The second time was at a smoothie place that had just opened down the street from your house. You were signing quickly, telling him how much you wanted to try every single flavor they had and he laughed at you, helping you out of the car and into the restaurant. Though, before you approached the desk, he asked, “What flavor first?”
You purse your lips, tapping your temple before grinning. “Strawberry.”
He ordered and paid for the both of you, taking you to a booth near the window. He watched as you sipped your drink in excitement, watching your eyes light up and roll to the back of your head dramatically. He laughed at you, setting his drink down to ask, “is it good?”
“Delicious,” you said back, and he watched with wide eyes when he heard you giggle. He’s heard you laugh plenty of times, but it never managed to make his heart beat just a little faster. “Taste better than I expected.”
You continue to sip your drink, looking out the window to people passing by and Stefan sighed slightly. “I love you way too much,” he said to himself, shaking his head. What was he going to do?
The third time was at your parent’s place. All four of you were eating dinner when you excused yourself to the bathroom. Stefan had a close relationship with your parents since you were their daughter’s best friend, and unlike you, your parents weren't deaf; your mom only partly.
“I’m... so glad she found you,” your mother spoke, making Stefan look up from his food. “She really adores you, Stefan. But I have to ask-you learned an entire new language, just for her? Why?”
The real question was why they were asking him this now when you’ve been friends for years, but Stefan just shrugged. “She’s an amazing person, and I wanted to get to know her. Writing and texting was great, but it wasn't enough. For me, anyway.”
Your father raised an eyebrow. “Wasn't enough? Just like being only friends with her isn’t enough?”
Stefan paused, looking at him with wide eyes and your father could only laugh. “Oh c'mon! You’re over here almost all the time and she’s with you all the time as well. And I see the way you smile at her. The “deep in love” smile. That's how I smile at her mom,” he grinned, looking towards his spouse, who hit him, but was flustered. Stefan imagined you two like that-being married, in love, having kids, raising a family together. Still sharing that love years and years into your relationship.
“Do you love her?” your mother asked. Stefan looked down, then looked back up at them, sighing.
“I do,” he confesses. “I do love her. I’m in love with her. I’ve been in love with everything about her for years now.”
Your father smirked, saying something that would forever have him blushing. “Just know that you have our blessing.”
Later that night, you two are up in your bedroom, having the house to yourself after your parents went out for a date night. Stefan is lying down, near falling asleep when he sees you sit up and look at him curiously.
“Blessing?” you ask.
He blinks.
“I heard my dad say you have his blessing,” you signed, your eyebrows raising to his wide green eyes. “What’s that about?”
“Nothing!” he signs quickly, swallowing nervously. “Go to sleep, Y/N.”
You purse your lips, before your hands start to slow. “You wanna marry me, Stefan?”
Oh my god, he thinks, he’s going to die. You're about to tell him to leave and your friendship will be ruined. He’s about to lose the most important person in his life.
“Because if so, I’m up for it,” you sign with a wide smirk. “Just saying.”
“Y/N…” he actually speaks, his lip moving and since he’s been doing that often, you try your hardest to read his lips. “I love you too much.”
You're nervous. You hope your voice doesn’t sound busted. “I… love… you… too.”
Stefan’s mouth drops. He’s never, never heard you spoke before, especially saying something so intimate. You sound like actual music to his ears, even if your voice is rough and a little scratchy. Your face heats up and you look away from him but he hugs you tightly before signing in front of your face.
