This is the 3rd in a series of images depicting a group of friends forced to abandon their homeland; In this image, they’ve arrived at an entirely new place and - by feels alone - have decided to settle and expand. It was painted on archival watercolor board late-summer 2014 and framed in the fall.
Superfluity!, 8x10 acrylic on gessobord, late 2014.

Phynnodderee, 8x10 acrylic on gessobord, 2014
Currently on view at William Baczek Fine Arts
I’ve only been painting this character for a couple of years, but I’m starting to see her personality slowly mesh with some of the more positive characteristics of Phynnodderee, the legendary creature from Manx folklore. What I’m saying I guess is she’s not the Phynnodderee itself, she's just a big fan, and has subsequently adapted many of its traits. Plus, yeah: the name.
Babywater, 16x20 acrylic on canvas (2012)
