To the Type-A Stepmama’s...

How do you deal with not being in control of your blended family? I’m not talking about picky, you-may-or-may-not-hate-babymama control... I’m talking about logistics, organization, decision making... the things you are best at. How do you deal with having virtually no say?

Dealing With Zodiac Cancer

- Being around the people they care for means a lot to Cancer. It is something that fuels them as a human being. Their over-protective nature is triggered by simply wanting the best for the people they love.

- Yes, their moods can change easily. They can go through a number of emotions in a short period of time. This is something they honestly have limited control over, so don’t fuss over this. Instead, take measures to lighten their mood if you sense they may be in a bad one.

- They like things to be in a certain order, especially as it pertains to their home. Don’t go over there trying to switch this and that and whatever you pick up… put it back.

- Reassurance is important to them. Let them know they’re doing a good job as a mother, father, employee, etc. This puts them in a good space and is a great source of motivation.

- Do what you can to create great memories with them. They often reflect on these things, especially if they may not be able to see you for a prolonged period of time. Take pictures together, write them sweet things… you can the point.
