What about a story where Derek can read minds and he fucking hates. Everyone is always just thinking about his body and what they would want to do to it and it’s the worst for him.

And then he meets Stiles, who does think about his body too, but it usually doesn’t last long cause his mind just spins right onto other things, because he has never been good at staying on topic, no matter how alluring the topic might be.

So Stiles, for example, thinks about Derek’s muscle and then about muscle density and how many there need to be in a body to sufficiently move it, and how they need to be maintained and then he jumps straight to orgincally processed foods and how his dad totally needs to eat healtier things, all while still staring at Derek’s biceps.

Derek can’t even be mad about that, because Stiles’ thought process is just so surprising and entertaining.

i like to think about stiles and derek getting together in the most mundane way possible. Like, boring but soft. So soft. Stiles just asking Derek out one day, just saying, “Do you want to have dinner with me sometime?”

And Derek smiling at him and clarifying, “are you asking me out?”

“Oh good, you got that,” Stiles would confirm. And yes, he does. So they do.

And after their first official date at some restaurant in the next town over where Stiles steals from Derek’s plate and tries to pay but Derek shoves his card into the waiters’ hand first, Stiles walks Derek to his door and they kiss for the first time.

It’s probably grossly chaste and sweet and Derek’s hands are on Stiles’ face and Stiles is trying not to smile because he thinks it would ruin the moment. But he does anyway.

And Derek invites him inside and Stiles accepts even though nothing happens except they fall asleep together on the couch with some movie playing in the background that neither have been watching.

Derek wakes up in the middle of the night and carries Stiles to bed and makes him breakfast in the morning and Stiles just somehow never ends up leaving.

What if Stiles was never shirtless in Teen Wolf because Dylan O’Brien has a large secret triskele tattoo (exactly like Tyler’s/Derek’s) and the makeup and video editing teams were die hard Sterek shippers who refused to cover it up or edit it out and Jeff Davies already had plans of ‘endgame’ stydia festering in his mind so he refused to let Dylan have shirtless scenes as much as it would probably boost viewer ratings cos a)hot and b) STEREKK!!😂😂
