Maybe it’s time for Reylos to look at Rey as her own person and not just another half of some ship.

Rey is not mourning Kylo at the end. She’s sad about his death for like 2 seconds. She’s smiling so much in the last 5 minutes that I haven’t seen her do in the whole trilogy. She has her friends back. Her family.

She names herself Skywalker after seeing Leia and Luke’s force ghost. To honour THEM.

Her life is just finally beginning. 

Don’t let Reylo’s twist the ending for you. The kiss sucks, but Kylo’s death is not Rey’s ending. Please watch the movie and see it for yourself. 

Rey has BB8 with her in the final shot. She’s going back to Finn and Poe. It’s obvious.

i cannot believe star wars took an strong, optimistic, and full-of-potential young woman of a protagonist and reduced her to a coddling, emotional-supporting-role for a man who did horrible things and be nothing but abusive and manipulative towards her and her friends and never faced any actual consequences for his actions.
