Even people who admit she loved them both are very biased. They try to show why one was more “compatible” and it’s all bias and begrudgingly admitting to her love for Kaname while trying to sweep it under the rug while claiming to be unbiased.
Even when they admit she loved them both they say zero was better for yuuki and she should have chosen him. While kaname was abusive and bad for yuuki.
Also the scene where Zero looks so miserable when Yuuki is presented with the cure. He's so insecure about her feelings for him that he even asked if she would've married him if Kaname said no. Zero is very insecure and jealous because he knows how much Yuuki loves Kaname.

I saw all the posts on the tag including the Kaname hate ones and surprisingly I don’t feel too affected by it. It’s just hsaonsaltiness that Hino and Yuuki didn’t abandon Kaname and that he’s treated like a “martyr”. Maybe if he’s treated like that it’s bc he is one and you didn’t understand the story

Hino experienced a death in her family so she was grieving and unable to finish the drawings properly. But the story itself is complete. There are no more chapters.

There is no extra content in the final volume. When the editors apologised for the incomplete final chapter, they were referring to the art. Hino submitted rough drawings for some of the pages. That's all.

Kaname and yuuki were born to become each other fiance and promised one another as well. That zeki wedding was so pitiful looking you can tell Hino did not care at all about it.
Regarding Narita Ken's comment in the guidebook, the translation I saw by Ayuuria seems different from what I saw on Twitter. Would you mind checking the original scan to see what he really meant? Weibo user 沉迷犬薇沼的nozo美 posted it yesterday. If you google their username, the first result is their Weibo page. Once you get into the page, scroll down to the post from Oct 27 at 07:57. The first image is a translation into Chinese, the second is the original scan.
The Twitter post was just a Japanese person's reaction and summary, and I'm assuming Ayuuria did a direct translation, so that's why they're different. I haven't seen how Ayuuria translated it, but her translations are usually fine. If you want mine to compare, it's under the cut!
When you first heard about the plan for Hanyō no Yashahime, what did you think?
When I heard from Sunrise that a show which was going to carry on the world of Inuyasha was going to begin, I was surprised. At the same time, I was curious what happened to Sesshōmaru and the other characters, and the other cast members.
Tell us your thoughts from when you first read the script.
When I learned that Sesshōmaru's children were the protagonists, I had a strong feeling of "Why?!" Probably because it really didn't connect to my image of Sesshōmaru from the time of Inuyasha. But it's an interesting new development, so I thought I'd try to challenge myself. (laughs)
(Question got cut off, but looks like it may have been something like "How difficult was it to play Sesshōmaru again after a long time?")
(Beginning of the question was cut off.) I felt like I was playing a Sesshōmaru who had come from an alternate universe. However, thinking about how Sesshōmaru was until now, isn't that how he would treat his daughters if he became a parent? He has love, but also cruelty and cold-heartedness, so wouldn't he use his daughters as an experiment for the sake of the things he wants to know? I was dealing with various ideas like that.
Was there any aspect of your acting you were particular about?
It often doesn't go well for me when I try to plan out my acting, so I don't dare look at the materials for the upcoming story developments. I can show my ability best when I'm driven to the edge of a cliff. (laughs) Also, I was conscious that I wanted to try not to change my voice. Although I don't think I tried to copy my voice from 10 years ago either. The most important thing is to face the character.
Please tell us a story from the recording booth.
I was happy to be able to work with Chō, who plays Jaken, again after 10 years. His voice hadn't changed at all. (laughs) When I saw Kyōda-san, who plays Kaede, was so energetic, I got motivation and I felt like I also had to work harder!
What impression do you have of the protagonists, Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha?
Since Towa and Setsuna don't really resemble Rin, they probably really took after Sesshōmaru. The one whose personality is the closest to Sesshōmaru's is the cool Setsuna, right? Moroha is cute and clumsy. (laughs) She resembles Inuyasha in her recklessness.
How do you perceive Rin and Sesshōmaru's relationship?
I think if Sesshōmaru were to get married, it would probably be to her. But is that the romantic love between a man and a woman? Sesshōmaru wouldn't have seen Rin in that way. He absolutely seems like a parent. Maybe he, wondering what would happen if he acted like a human, wanted to try and use Rin for that. Like having offspring was just a biological function . . . If I were to judge just whether he likes or hates her, I'd say he likes her, but I want to think of it as somewhere in the middle, without making it clearly black or white. I want to aim for that perfect place, like when adjusting the temperature of a bath. (laughs)
Which scene from the first season left an impression on you?
The scene when Sesshōmaru gave Tenseiga to Towa. When he said "Will you try it, Towa?", it was the first time he said Towa's name, but I really wanted to have a balance of warmth and coolness, so even though they had given me the OK, they let me record it again and again.
【TRUTH】Yashahime’s Director States Sessrin Has NEVER Been Approved by Rumiko Takahashi

We all know Sessrins love showing off Takahashi’s “favour” to their ship, although Takahshi politely denies it again and again. In fact, according to a recent Yashahime review, not only Rumiko herself, but also the the very director of Yashahime, Teruo Sato, openly declares that Sesshomoru and Rin are never a ship in Rumiko Takahashi’s work.
It is clear that to Sato, “SessRin” is a thing never exsits in Rumiko Takahashi’s work. Here he is worried that even though Yashahime is not Rumiko’s work, some fans may well feel “uncomfurtable” about this ship. (Which is, of course.)
Yashahime is a fanwork of the Inuyasha Anime. Inuyasha anime is adapted from Inuyasha manga. The commerical part of its copyright belongs to Sunrise, but the canon is always what Rumiko Takahashi has drawn.
It’s so pathetic. They’re so fixated with trying to make SessRin canon and trying to make everyone else recognise it as canon. They can’t even be content with their own ship or enjoy it in private, but have to clamour around the ankles of other fans hoping for approval, because they know it’s problematic and disgusting, but they’re deep in denial.
Here, the old and current description of Yashahime on Shogakukan’s website. It is what’s closest to most official, if it’s not the most official website. I’m double checking this with 海豹。
And I think Sunrise is unable to make a non-RT work part of Inuyasha canon. Simply unable to, for it’s illegal (and impossible). The commercial part of Inuyasha’s copyright belongs to Sunrise, as is why it can produce Yashahime for profit. However, there is a part of copyright that always belongs to the artist only. In the case of Inuyasha, it is not the work of a company but of an individual, so the right of canon remains with RT.
At least rumiko takahashi spoke up against what damaged her and her works. She knew if she didn't the respect she got over the years would have been lost.
Kagome is attractive in her own way. But I feel like much of her light which I saw in the initial episodes got dimmed out because of the love affair with Inu Yasha. Seeshomaru is so hot. But Kagome and Sesshomaru didn't have any time together. When I saw him around rin, it made him hotter in my eyes. Like he could be a good father and protector despite that cold fearsome hard exterior? who would have thunk they are gonna ruin that and turn it into something else altogether lmao

Yea honestly much of my love comes from extracting who she is independent of Inuyasha. I really wish she was given more time and space to just shine on her own but unfortunately her character is so dependent on her love affair with Inuyasha in canon. She did have her annoying moments due to how glued she was to Inuyasha in canon lol
For me that episode where Kagome and Sesshoumaru stayed stuck in my head so I basically go off their little interactions lol. It’s one of the few moments where she gets something for herself. Haha that’s interesting you mention the relationship between Sess and Rin changed it all for you and made him hotter. It was kind of the opposite for me haha 💀
I enjoyed how stubborn and almost villainous he was prior to meeting Rin. I mean I still think it’s nice and cute he was a father and protector to Rin but idk. I think it’s because the way I found out about his character was unfortunately already tainted by the weird romantic lense some of his fans see their relationship through lol. So I can’t help but wonder if he never met Rin then people wouldn’t have such strange views of his character that he would actually be attracted to a child he protected and looked after like a parent for 200 episodes and 500 chapters 💀
and honestly now looking back at it I hate that the anime added extra fillers in order to put the idea of that ship romantically into peoples heads. The manga was perfect the way it was cuz their relationship was literally parental and platonic. If I were rumiko I would be so pissed at that company Lmaoo. Bunch of weirdos in that studio who don’t truly care about her work and just had some weird agenda. Idk I felt they should’ve just left his character alone and let everyone just have their own interpretations and ideas of his character. Rumiko didn't please the shippers during the popular days of inuyasha and her other manga works. She stuck with what she was writing and pleased no one.

Executive Meddling: When sales started to drop since the start of the second arc, the editors from LaLa forced Hino Matsuri to cut her ending, apparently three times in the story. As a result, Matsuri even publicly apologized to her readers in her blog for the ending being as rushed as it was, being sorry she wasn't able to tell the full story she wanted.
Creator Killer: Thanks to the mostly disliked or simply indifference-inducing ending of the series, many fans have stated they would have a hard time reading another story from Hino Matsuri again, since they fear she'll just create another series with messed up morals and/or another trolling Love Triangle. The fact that the editors from LaLa made Matsuri to cut the story because it wasn't selling as it did before, doesn't exactly help.
Not ot3 or zeki, only yume was her story that she wanted to tell but she could not. She still has regrets about kaname and she probably has regrets about the ending to vampire knight memories too....
