It Takes Two is finally done and I am over the moon with excitement at so many of your lovely comments!
So, enjoy some ridiculous memes I made while procrastinating during the writing process lol
It might be my childhood trauma speaking, but the idea of someone seeing the darkest, most vicious side of you and still finding you not just loveable but diabolically sexy makes me fucking swoon.
Happy 28th Birthday, Dylan O’Brien (August 26th, 1991) ❤️
“[Fans about Maze Runner] it is really cool and something to be totally thankful for and grateful for, you know? I think it can be intense sometimes and uhm…it is odd, it’s obviously not normal thing for a human to go through with that kind of reaction to them–I don’t know things like that. But it’s–the way I think about it is it’s really just amazing that you can ever be a part of something that resonates with anyone at all let alone having this whole support this entire fanbase.”
For the prompt for July by @stetermonthlyprompts —witches!
Peter enters the bakery warily, eyes searching for danger—but all he sees are customers eating or drinking coffee. Strange, maybe he has the wrong address?
“Excuse me,” he says to the cashier. “Do you know when the owner will be in?”
There’s a grin pulling at the boy’s lips, and Peter wonders what’s so funny until...
“That would be me. Stiles Stilinski, what can I do for you today?”
Well. That’s a surprise.
“But I thought you were a witch?”
The honey eyes before him flash with power, and Peter no longer doubts his authenticity.
“I embue everything in my work with magic. Most of the time, it’s a nostalgic memory into dough or inspiration into icing, but sometimes?”
Stiles pulls a bat from behind the counter, obviously well-used and has runes carved into the sides.
“Sometimes I have to kill some big bads. Now tell me, what can I do for you today?”
Peter smiles now. Oh, this is going to be fun.
What about an AU where Sheriff Stilinski is the one with the magical powers and he’s over a few centuries old. He’s not all that powerful, mainly just has enough magic to slow down the aging process and give him some protection against death.
Claudia is just the latest in a long line of spouses but she’s the first to give him a child with potential. While the Sheriff might not be anything great when it comes to magics, this child’s magic is seeping out of them to just such an extent that it’s killing Claudia (though the Sheriff doubts she feels anything yet, it’s a slow poison that will eat away at her and there’s nothing either of them can do about it).
He knows that one day the child, Stiles, will decide the fate of the land and those around them (like they’ve done for Claudia, through no fault of their own bar their natural magical run-off) and that it will be both beautiful and terrible to behold. The Sheriff knows that this child will take what they’re born with and turn it into something, he just doesn’t know what – but he can’t wait to find out.
Hey all! I was wondering if you could find me some steter with a good story/plot too? Thanks so much for all you do :)

He smells him before he sees him, the scent competing over the sticky smell of stale beer and sweat. It smells like burnt sugar, a little bitter mixed in with the sweetness. He leaves the paperwork on the desk and steps out of his office, passing the bathrooms that he can tell Erica still hasn’t cleaned.
A lithe, what Peter could only describe as a boy is standing in the middle of the empty bar, one hand gripping the dolly’s handle full of boxes of Hair of the Dog; one of the few werewolf beers that doesn’t taste of ass. (And Peter would know.) His mouth is slightly parted as he surveys the bar and Peter suppressed thoughts of what he could put in that mouth.

“To be fair, her fiance and the father of her baby is my ex-boyfriend,” Peter says. “And we weren’t broken up when they started ‘dating’.”
Stiles looks up at him in surprise. “And you’re still getting her flowers?” he asks.
“It’s under duress, I assure you,” Peter says. He absolutely wouldn’t be here if his alpha hadn’t ordered it.
“Well, shit, yeah, let’s get you some purple revenge flowers,” Stiles says.

— Henry Jenkins (Director of media studies at MIT)
LOUDER PLEASE.
writing is the worst
u wanna write a single, passing line of dialogue so u fact check it to make sure it’s historically accurate, then suddenly you’ve lost track of time, space,, urself
for instance: I wanted to know how frequently fighter planes were used in WWI and now I’m several pages deep into the history of witchcraft in ireland
this is it. this is what writing is like.
I agree mostly. But I'm saying, if I see someone publish a chapter and insists that the readers never comment anything negative about any elements in that chapter, it's unfair to expect any positive comments either.
it’s like this, right
If you see a street musician, you have three options:
Walk past without saying anything
Stop and listen to the music, but don’t give them any money
Stop and listen to the music and if you have the money and liked what they played, you give them money
Nowhere in any of that is the option, “Stop and criticize them to ‘help them improve their performance.’”
If you do that, you are considered an asshole. That’s just how life works.
In the same manner, when you read a fanfiction, you have three options:
Read it, like and/or love it, leave without a word
Read it, dislike and/or hate it, leave without a word
Read it, like and/or loveit, leave a comment
If you don’t like it? You don’t have to comment!
If you did like it but there was an element that wasn’t to your specific taste? Focus on the part you did like when you comment.
If you can’t do that, then walk away. Don’t say anything.
You’re right, you don’t have to leave a positive comment, but I’m not telling you that you have to leave a positive comment. I’m telling you that if you can’t leave one, then don’t leave a comment at all.
If the only way you’re willing to tell someone about the parts of their story that you liked is to also tell them the parts that you did not like and/or actively hate? Then don’t comment. Do. Not. Comment.
Because no matter how long each of those lists are–no matter if the good outweighs the bad or not–the only thing you’ve done is left a sour taste in someone’s mouth.
People do this for fun. It’s not fun if we give you something and the only thing we get back is that sour taste.
