Thoughts on the 9 year age difference between Ella and Belmont? At first it did make me a little uneasy but after watching them together in interviews, both with each other and the full cast, they seem to be very comfortable with each other.
theyre definitely very comfortable with each other but this isnt just a conversation that starts and ends with them. its a very common hollywood problem that they need to figure out. im glad that she especially was comfortable and thats what matters most but this isnt the last time something like this is going to happen unfortunately.

dont forget elton john himself reposting that video from jimmy fallon! i have to be honest, i did not have very high expectations from this show, especially since i read those books a decade ago and i didnt think it would hold up but they've done a really good job of fixing a lot of the problematic stuff from the book without losing the essence of who these characters are so huge shoutout to the showrunner for that!
